I'm joining Holly and Patty for their Monthly Musings. This months topic is Essential Spring Fashion Pieces.
HERE ARE THE QUESTIONS:
1. How do you transition your wardrobe? I usually take out of my drawers: turtlenecks, heavy sweaters, and sweatshirts. I also like to put away heavy coats. I like to add in lighter sweaters, cardigans, light long sleeve shirts, and 3/4 sleeve tops. I like to hang in my coat closet light jackets and coats.
2. Favorite spring items? I love wearing light sweaters and 3/4 sleeve tops. I like wearing light colored pants and shoes.
3. Favorite spring footwear? I love wearing my light tan Steeve Madden flat sneakers with my jeans and leggings.
4. Favorite colors you wear in spring? I love wearing pastel colors. I also like wearing army green and dark grey colored tops with jeans or leggings.
5. Favorite spring accessory? I like wearing light colored sunglasses, and light colored crossbody handbags.
6. Ways to add spring to your outfit even when the weather doesn't cooperate? I will add a light colored scarf with a top and cardigan or wear a light colored coat.
7. Do you change up your makeup routine in spring? Yes. I like wearing light colored eye shadow. I will use an SPF foundation or CC cream. I like to use Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Broad Spectrum SPF 50. I also like to wear light pink and coral lipstick.
8. Puff sleeve trend...yes or no? Yes. I love this look for spring. It looks nice for tops and dresses.
9. Do you change up your mani/pedi colors in spring? I always change my mani/pedi to light colors in the spring. I love wearing light pink nail polish.
10. Recommend your favorite spring handbag/tote. I love using my Lola Mae quilted crossbody handbag from Amazon. I have the bag shown in the color Blush Light.
Yay for spring. I can't wait to change my wardrobe to spring clothes!

DeleteI love seeing how you transition into warmer weather! I have an army green jacket too. I need to pull it out of the closet! That's a cute handbag. I love the color. I had a similar one in black but the zipper broke. I think I over filled it. I hope you're having a great Thursday!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun! I don't dare get spring-y clothes here yet as we still have more snow coming. We will be a few hours south for Easter so I hope we have some nice weather there! Happy end of the month-xo Diana

ReplyDeleteI pretty much do the same as you do but this year, I will have a buy some new things as most of my clothes are too big for me. I am not going to go overboard though because I do not need a lot of clothes now that I am retired... Just a few basics to build on...Thanks so much for stopping by!!
