Hello blog friends.
I thought it would be a fun idea to list all the reasons why I love spring.
1. Longer Days - I like that the sun stays out longer each day. I get excited to have more time to spend gardening and going for long walks.
2. Everyone Seems To Be Happy - Sunny and warm days seem to put everyone in a good mood.
3. Flowers - The spring flowers are blooming and the grass is starting to grow green.
4. It's Warmer Outside - I like that the weather is warmer outside and we don't have to wear heavy coats and scarves anymore.
5. More Sunny Days - It's nice to be outside and have the sun shining more each day.
7. Gardening - I enjoy gardening like in these blog posts HERE and HERE. I am looking forward to planting flowers, herbs, and vegetables next month.
8. Spring Cleaning and Organizing - Every spring I like to wash and clean our windows. It makes me happy to see clean windows. I also like to clean out our coat closet and get out my spring clothes and organize my clothes closet. I like to donate my gently used clothing to different organizations that are in need of clothes. This is the time of year we usually like to clean out our garage.
9. Spring Fashion - I like wearing spring shoes and sandals. This is the time of year I like to order some new spring clothing.
Hello blog friends. Welcome to Costco Finds - Part 2.
We bought a lot of awesome Costco items on some of our shopping trips since January. We split some of the items with my daughter to use while she is away at college. If you missed my blog post Costco Finds - Part 1, you can click HERE to read.
My husband likes to put this powder in his hot coffee.
My daughter and husband like to snack on these Parm Crisps.
We thought this looked like a good item to try out. My husband makes us protein shakes for breakfast and he will add this powder to our drink.
We've been eating this Vietnamese Pho for lunch. It's so easy to make with just adding water to the bowl and heating it up in the microwave oven.
This Skinny Pop is one of our favorite snacks.
We also like this vegan white cheddar chickpea snack.
We like these veggie crisps too.
My brother and sister-in-law gifted us this mini Nespresso machine for Christmas.
We've been using these Peet's espresso pods for our afternoon espresso. We like that they come in different flavors.
We bought this Ginger beer to make Moscow Mule cocktails.
We decided to try out this Kerrygold Irish butter and we like it.
I was happy when I saw these heavy duty Swiffer sheets. They are perfect for keeping my wood floors clean especially with having a dog.
My husband has been making us egg white omelette's for breakfast. He likes to use these egg white cartons and we add in spinach and feta cheese.
We love to use these green tea bags to make our iced green tea.
My husband and daughter like to eat these noodles for lunch.
I have been using these facial towelettes for years to take off my makeup. These towelettes work great for taking off mascara.
I thought this Make Up Eraser looked interesting for taking off makeup. I bought them for my daughter to use and she likes them and gave me a few to try out. I like the way these take off makeup with just wetting the cloth with warm water. To clean the cloth you just add soap and water. I usually wash it out by hand after I take off my makeup and then hang it to dry. These cloths work good and are great for the environment.
I hope you enjoyed looking at all of my awesome Costco Finds. I love shopping at Costco for their great bargains but I hate putting everything away! LOL!
Have you bought anything interesting from Costco?
We've been to Costco a few times on shopping trips since January. We bought a lot of items to share with my daughter for college. I've found some awesome items at Costco that I like and I thought I would break this up into two blog posts.
We bought these Pretzel Crisps for my daughter for college. She likes eating these with hummus.
We just discovered this Oat milk at Costco. I like that it comes in these cartons. We split the oat milk with my daughter.
My daughter likes to take these Airborne gummies.
My husband and daughter like to put this Liquid IV Hydration Multiplier in their water for extra hydration.
I liked the colors of these sneakers and I picked up a pair for myself. I can't wait to wear these on my spring walks.
I love these comfortable Adidas work-out pants. They also have a pocket on the side for your phone.
I love anything camouflage and I picked up these leggings. They are comfortable but I wish they had pockets on the sides of the pants.
I am in love with this new spring top. I just love the color and it looks great with jeans and leggings.
We bought this navy blue comforter for my daughter's bed at home.
We bought for her bed this 6-piece sheet set in a light blue color too. The sheets are so nice and soft that we went back to Costco the next day and bought a set of sheets for ourselves! LOL!
I also bought a set of these bed sheets for our bed. I bought the 3rd down (the blue and white sheets). These are nice sheets too.
My husband likes to spread this peanut butter on his toast.
We always buy this Caesar salad kit whenever we go to Costco. It's about $8.00 and it makes about 4 salads for us.
We both liked this Four Cheese Spinach Manicotti. It tasted so good and delicious.
Have you bought anything from Costco lately?
Stay tuned for the second part of Costco's finds coming soon.

I recently went food shopping at Trader Joe's. I was so excited when I saw these huge artichokes. I made the artichokes in the Instant Pot using this recipe I have posted on the blog. The only thing that I changed was adding to the stuffing a 1/2 cup of seasoned bread crumbs. Adding the bread crumbs to the recipe made a big difference in the taste. They came out great!
I love cheese and fig jelly. I recently snacked on whole wheat-crackers with brie cheese and fig jelly. I bought the cheese and jelly on a recent shopping trip to Wegmans.
I love spring flowers! On our recent trip to Wegmans, I saw these pretty spring flowers. I treated myself to this bouquet with a shamrock in the arrangement.
I stopped into the bookstore Barnes & Noble recently and I enjoyed looking at the cookbooks. I occasionally like to watch Ree Drummond's show The Pioneer Women on the Food Network. I like her cookbooks and reading her magazine.
I'm currently reading the book The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. I love this author and I enjoy reading historical fiction books. Have you read this book yet and did you like it?
We recently visited the Strand Bookstore. This bookstore will also take back gently used books. On our last visit to the bookstore I brought in a large box of books and I was able to get $18 store credit. I went back into the store and bought The Nightingale book for exactly $18.
Below is another box of books that I will be bringing back to the bookstore again for store credit.
I am making slow progress on the crochet Appa that I'm making for my daughter's friend. This project has many small pieces to crochet and then sew onto the animal.
I'm happy about the sunshine and beautiful weather we've been having lately. I've been enjoying my walks and soon the trees will be filled in with leaves.
What have you been up to lately?
