Hello blog friends! I apologize for not being able to visit all of your blogs and to respond to your emails. I have just been so busy with the holiday season and I've not had too much time to spend at the computer. I hope you all enjoying the holidays too! :)
I love crocheting different projects throughout the year. How about you?
I just finished crocheting this ear warmer that I started working on a while back, as far as three years ago. It's one of those projects where I worked on it and then I stopped for some reason.
This ear warmer is made with chunky yarn, and a large crochet hook. Using chunky yarn and a large crochet hook makes this type of project work up fast.

The pattern for this ear warmer is found in the book Clever Crocheted Accessories by Brett Bara. This book and patterns are available on Amazon.

Below is what the ear warmer looks like worn on the model. I used a different color yarn scheme than the blue colors of the yarn shown here. I went with more gold, orange, and light green multi colored yarn.
This is what I used to make the crocheted ear warmer:
For the yarn I used: Cascade Yarns Magnum - Color No. 9478 - Lot. No. 279910 - I'm not sure if they still make this color yarn, but you can substitute it for any colored yarn you like.
Crochet Hook - US size K
** It's best to use thick chunky yarn for this project.
This is a great alternative if you do not like wearing a hat in the winter. You can also use this as a neck warmer.
I hope I've inspired you to crochet this ear warmer to keep you warm this winter! This also makes a great holiday gift.

Hello blog friends. Don't you just love the holidays and the Christmas season. I know I do, and it's the perfect time of year for eating sweets!
My teen had her Christmas Fair at school last week, and this is what she brought home for me! It's a mason jar filled with Reindeer Droppings! Ha ha, not really!
What's reindeer droppings you ask? It's a mason jar filled with chocolate covered raisinets and the mason jar is decorated to look like a reindeer.
I just love this cute gift idea and I had to share it with you!
Supplies you will need to make Reindeer Droppings Mason Jar:
- Mason Jar
- Ribbon
- Tag that says Reindeer Droppings
- Eyes
- One red ball for nose
- 1 small piece of brown felt
- Chocolate candy such as raisinets
