Hello friends. Have you ever had a Slutty Brownie before? Well, these brownies taste so GOOD and are EASY to make! How about that name; it makes me laugh!
A while ago, my teen needed to make these brownies and bring them to school. It was the first time I had ever heard of them. The two of us had so much fun making them and they are the BEST brownies I have ever tasted!
They were so good that we made them again for Christmas Day! Everyone enjoyed them and they were a big hit with the kids.
With Memorial Day coming, and the 4th of July, I thought these brownies would be a fun and easy dessert to bring along to your next gathering or party.

Today I am going to share with you how easy these brownies are to make!
1) You make your brownie mix 2) First layer the chocolate chip cookie mix on the bottom of a pan sprayed with cooking spray or PAM.
3) Layer on top of the chocolate chip cookie mix; oreo cookies 4) Next spread the brownie mix on top. 5) Bake in the oven.
That is all there is to making these delicious brownies!

Hello blog friends, I do hope you are all having a nice week. Do you ever run out of ideas for what to make for a week night meal? Well I do, and I like to change things up a bit. I have this super easy recipe to make Salisbury Steak to share with you. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family does.
I served the Salisbury Steak with quinoa and corn for sides. I always complete each meal with a salad too. Below are the patties frying and cooking in the brown gravy.
Thanks everyone and enjoy!

Hello friends, it's been a while since I've done a Five on Friday post, and anything to do with crocheting. Today I'd love to share with you five different crochet projects I made over the winter.
Below is everything I crocheted, and all stacked up!
1) I crocheted a lap blanket over the winter using three different skeins of yarn. I made each section using light green, purple, and multi colored yarn, with each section using five rows. To see the details on how to make one, you can click HERE and HERE. I enjoyed crocheting this blanket during the cold winter evenings, while I was watching TV.
2) Below, I made this crocheted scarf using Red Heart variegated yarn. The yarn is mixed with light brown, light pink and a darker pink shade. The crochet hook is a US size I hook. I made this using the half double crochet stitch.
3) I crocheted the scarf below, using thick variegated, chunky yarn. I used a US size J or K hook. Using thick yarn and a large crochet hook works up fast, which I love. I used the half double crochet stitch for this scarf. This will keep someone very warm during the winter.
4) This is a bright colored scarf I made for a little girl to wear. The yarn is from Red Heart, and the crochet hook is a US size I. I made this using the double crochet stitch, and I made a scalloped edging on both ends of the scarf.
5) Finally, I made matching crocheted hand warmers to go with the scarf. To make these hand warmers, you can click HERE for pattern that I designed.
Below you can see all of my crochet projects I made. All of this has kept me busy during the winter evenings. I also worked on everything each week, at my Tuesday crochet group meetings.

I really enjoyed working on all of these crochet projects. I will also be donating it all to our holiday knit/crochet sale we have each fall at my church.
I hope I have inspired you to crochet a scarf, hand warmers, or a lap blanket. :)
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a lovely weekend! :)
Don't forget to come back and stop by here on Monday for our 50th Cooking and Crafting with J & J Link Up Party!!

Hello friends. I recently visited the Macy's Flower Show in New York City. This is the last part of the Flower Show and just in case you missed Part 1, you can see that HERE, and Part 2 HERE.
Now we are onto the second level; the sides of Macy's, and from where we were standing you could look down and get a great view of the flower show.
Below, I got a closeup shot of different plants located from the Southwest part of the US. If you look closely you can see many cactus plants.
Below are some shots I took of Girl Scouts Badges made up of flowers.
Here is another shot looking down at the flowers and the makeup area (which I love).
We did a little bit of shopping and looking around in the handbags section. Look more florals!
We next went to different floors looking at the clothes. I just had to share with you these interesting manikins. Look at the denim outfits and their hairstyles. I especial like the interesting hairstyle on the manikin sitting down.
I noticed the fashions that are popular this spring season are denim, blue, white, and black. I also saw many different shades of coral and orange. There were tops and dresses in stripes and florals.
After some retail shopping we decided to have lunch on the 8th floor of Macy's at Au Bon Pain. It is a bakery that sells fresh baked bread, croissants, muffins, and scones. They also sell sandwiches, wraps, salad, and soup. My friend and I both decided to have sandwiches, and I had an avocado BLT that was delicious.
My friend and I both had a great day out together and we enjoyed seeing the flower show this year.
Now that I have seen so many beautiful flowers, I will be ready to plant different flower combinations in May. It's been too cold here for me to do any gardening and hopefully May will be a warmer month. LOL!
Thanks everyone for coming along with me as I shared the tour of the Macy's Flower Show. This is such a spectacular event and I hope I may have inspired you to visit it next spring.
