Hi everyone. Do you ever get tired of making the same old recipes for dinner? Well in our family I like to make easy and healthy recipes that aren't too complicated to make. I found this recipe to make Tuna Burgers on Pinterest.
I made these for dinner recently with a salad on the side and my family loved them and I'd love to share it with you.
The mixture makes about five or six patties depending on how big you make them. Here you can see them in the frying pan. We had the burgers with a salad on the side but you could also serve them on a bun with lettuce and tomato or any fixing that you like.
For the recipe to make these easy and delicious Tuna Burgers you can click HERE.
* NOTE: For a little bit more flavor I added to the recipe Chesapeake Bay Style Seafood Seasoning and some dried parsley. You can add as many or whatever seasonings you like.
I hope I have inspired you to try this recipe idea. If you make these tuna burgers, I'd love to know how you liked them.

I enjoyed looking at all the sailboats while visiting at my Mom's house. Isn't this such a gorgeous view? I am not ready for summer to be over and I'm enjoying what is left of it.

Hi friends, I have another makeup post to share with you today. I recently went shopping at the MAC makeup store and treated myself to some makeup. I really love wearing lipstick, so I purchased a lip pencil and lipstick that I would love to share with you.
The lip pencil is MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil in the color - In Anticipation. This is a lip pencil in a light pink shade, it goes on smoothly and has 8-hour wear, a rich color and transfer-proof. The price is $20. I chose this light pink lip liner because I thought that it would go with a lot of my lipsticks that I already have. It goes on smoothly and even looks pretty without wearing lipstick.
The lipstick is MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in the color - Party Line. This is a dark rose color, it comes in 10 shades, and has a creamy texture. The price is $17. I love this color lipstick for fall and winter because it's a darker shade and it really lasts a long time on my lips without coming off.
The link to MAC cosmetics is Here. You can order this online if you can not get to the store to buy it.
I like the lip pencil and lipstick paired together and they both lasted a long time without coming off and there was no bleeding from the outside of my lips. I would recommend these if you feel like splurging a little on makeup.
Do you have any favorite lipstick that you like? I would love to know!
I hope I have inspired you to go shopping this weekend and buy a new lipstick. Wishing you all a lovely weekend.

I just finished reading the book Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee. There has been so much hype about this book because it was a lost and forgotten manuscript that was just discovered and published recently. This is the sequel to the book To Kill a Mockingbird and if you missed my book review on that book you can click HERE to read about it.
This book is set 20 years after To Kill A Mockingbird with adult Jean Louise (Scout) who lives in New York City and decides to return to visit her father Atticus Finch. While Jean Louise is visiting with her aging father she sees the town and people now in a different way. She learns things about her father and the people close to her that she does not agree with and her uncle tries to help her understand things better.
My Thoughts:
I rushed out to buy this book on the first day that it was released. I thought that Go Set A Watchman was very slow moving, which I found very boring. What also bored me was Lee's style of writing because it differed from the way she wrote in To Kill A Mockingbird. I didn't enjoy reading this book as I did with Lee's other book.
For me, To Kill A Mockingbird was an easy read, funny and interesting. The character, Jean Louise, had some very funny lines and overall was a very well thought out character. I don't feel the same way about the characters in this book. Harper Lee's writing differs so much between the two books, so I think there must have been a reason why this wasn't published until now.
My overall opinion of Go Set A Watchman is that there was too much hype about it. It was made to be this amazing sequel that was lost. I think that Lee's publisher pushed too much to have this book published. I, personally did not like this book but I know many people did. You can be the judge of the book in the comments below.
I have a blog friend who enjoyed reading this book and you can read about her review HERE.
Have you read this book yet and did you like it?

Hi friends, back in June at our Cooking and Crafting with J & J Link Up, I featured Jenn's Random Scraps for her Broccoli Salad Recipe.
Jenn's Broccoli Salad Recipe is so easy to make and it's a healthy vegetable salad. It tasted so good that I decided to make it for our family.
Note: I substituted the miracle whip in the recipe with Ranch Dressing.
This is the perfect vegetable salad is perfect to make for your next BBQ.
Thanks Jenn for sharing this wonderful recipe.
