While we were visiting with family recently, I took this photo from their apartment of the New York City skyline at sunset.
I used the same photo and made this picture using the Waterlogue app.
Have you tried this app yet? I love making my photos look like paintings!
Thanks everyone and Enjoy!

Hello friends! I hope you all had a nice weekend. I just finished reading the book To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I enjoyed this reading this book and I'd love to share with you a little bit about it.
It's been a long time since I read this book in high school. I was interested in reading this book again since the author will be releasing for publication her second novel Go Set A Watchman this summer.
This a novel set in the small southern town of Macomb, Alabama during the Depression. It follows three years of the life of 8 year old Scout Finch, her brother Jem, and their father Atticus who is a lawyer. The story is told through the eyes of Scout Finch and how their father is put on a case and how the facts of it have rocked the whole town. This novel covers race, class, justice, and the pain of growing up.
I totally enjoyed reading this book and I would recommend it. I am so happy I read the book again and I'm looking forward to reading Harper Lee's next book Go Set a Watchman.
Have you read any good books lately?
I am happy to be joining Amy from Love Made My Home for her Five on Friday Series.
I'm taking five minutes of my day to share five things:
1) I walk my dog Bosco every morning during the week and I enjoyed watching the boats go by. It is so pretty and peaceful in the morning.
2) It feels so nice to be out and see so many spring flowers blooming and I just love the colors these daffodils.
3) We enjoy eating strawberries in our family and I cut up so many that I bought from Costco. Strawberries and whipped cream are my favorite.
5) I made buttermilk pancakes last weekend for breakfast and we enjoyed them so much!

Week 36 - Physicans Formula Super BB All-in-1 Beauty Balm Stick
Week 36 - Physicans Formula Super BB All-in-1 Beauty Balm Stick
Hello friends! I hope you all had a nice weekend. Today I'd like to share with you this new BB Balm Stick that I bought recently at Duane Reade. I love using BB Cream and I saw that this is different as it is a balm stick that you use to apply to your face instead of cream from a tube. I love how convenient it is to use and I applied it on my face where I needed to and then I used a makeup sponge to blend it in. This has an SPF 30 and the color that I bought is Light and is the perfect color for my fair skin. It also comes in Light/Medium and that is perfect for darker colored skin. The price I paid for this is $12.95 and I am happy that it works well and blends in easily. I love wearing and using this product and if you like using BB Cream than I would recommend you try this product. This would be great for traveling and it's not a liquid and it won't take up too much room in your makeup bag.
* Makeup Tip: Makeup Sponges are great for blending in BB Creams and Foundation. You can purchase these at any drug store. I love using these to blend in my makeup.
Do you have a favorite BB Cream that you like using? I'd love to know.
Thanks for stopping by and see you all next time for Makeup Monday.

The first recipe that she made was my Eggplant Pizza Recipe.
The second recipe that Ping made was the Easy Baked Chicken recipe that I shared recently when I guest blogged at Sarah's Kitchen.

Hi friends, I hope you all had a nice holiday weekend. I'm happy to say that I finally finished working on this knitted scarf that I have been working on for a long time.
The yarn I used is two pieces held together and it's cream and gold colored yarn and the stitch I used is the seed stitch.
The yarn I used is two pieces held together and it's cream and gold colored yarn and the stitch I used is the seed stitch.
I started working on this scarf last year and I was going to make it into an infinity scarf but I changed my mind. I decided to just make it into a regular scarf to wear. In case you missed that post you can see it HERE with all the details of the yarn, needles, and pattern that I used. I am happy to be wearing it for the spring as there are still some cold days we have been having.
One by one I have decided to finish a yarn project that I have left to finish before I start a new one. If you knit I hope I have inspired you to knit a scarf like this one too.
Thanks everyone and Enjoy!
