Hello blog friends.
We did a quick Costco run last week and I'd love to show you what I found.
I thought these Keto Crackers looked interesting as I've never seen them at Costco. They have a hint of coconut taste to them and we had the crackers with salsa which tasted good.
We love to have protein shakes every morning for breakfast. We use this protein powder when making the shakes.
My husband likes to put this Keto Collagen Protein Powder in his coffee from time to time.
I love visiting the area where they have clothes. I found this cute Danskin T-Shirt and I have it in the color blue.
I found these Puma sports bras and mine came in a two pack. These sports bras are perfect for wearing when I do my Zumba classes in the park three time a week!
I bought another set of these sheets (3rd down). They are Charisma Microfiber Queen Sheet 6-Piece Sets. It comes with 4 pillow cases, 1 flat sheet, and 1 fitted sheet. I used to only use white sheets but now I am loving the pretty colored sheet sets for our bed.
Have you bought anything from Costco lately?

Hello blog friends.
It seems like the summer is in full swing. June flew by so fast and I can't believe that next week will be July!
I have my Friday Favorites - June Edition:
I seem to read more books in the summertime than I do in the winter. I like to sit in my yard and read books with a cool drink. I recently read the book, The Henna Artist by Alka Joshi.
I bought this book at Costco and it looked like an interesting read since it's a Reese Witherspoon Bookclub pick. I didn't like this book at first since it had a slow start but once I got into reading the book I found that I liked it. This is book 1 of 2: The Jaipur Trilogy.
Did you read this book and like it? What book are you reading?
I did't plant as many veggies this year as I have in the past. I've tried to grow tomatoes in container pots and I hardly get any tomatoes. I used to plant them in honor of my father and father-in-law who both had success with growing tomato gardens. This year I planted romaine lettuce, two pepper plants, basil, and flowers in my yard. I've already made a few salads with the lettuce I've grown. It's always nice to have a fresh salad from the garden.
I like taking evening walks from time to time with Bosco. I enjoy looking at the pretty flowers that my neighbors grow. I spotted pretty roses and pink hydrangeas on my walk one evening.
I am finishing up with crocheting another Appa for my daughter's friend for her birthday. I like to call the Appa's twins and I'm glad to be almost done with working on this project.
The colorful sweater seen below was crocheted for my daughter by a talented crochet designer from depop. This colorful sweater was also worn by Harry Styles.
I might crochet a granny square sweater seen below, as I am now inspired to make a colorful sweater.
Now that the pandemic is almost over I have been going back to the nail salon for my manicure/pedicures.
I recently saw on Ann's blog Our New Vista that she did her own gel manicure look at home using this Gelous Advanced Nail Gel Coat. I am inspired to try it out for myself to see if it works without using a UV light.
Just a little reminder that Blogger will be doing away with Feedburner in July. I had my new email subscription service set up by Linda at Life and Linda with MailChimp for a small fee. You can see my new email widget form located on my sidebar. There are other email subscription services available and a few blogger buddies Living on Cloud Nine and Our Life in a Click are using follow.it. You can read a helpful blog post that Linda did on Feedburner here.
Look who I found hiding under the table! Bosco loves this hiding spot.
You might have seen some of these photos on my Instagram feed. You can follow me on Instagram at @brklynhousewife to see my latest photos. You can follow me using the Instagram symbol on my sidebar. I hope to see you on Instagram!
I hope you have a happy Friday and weekend.

Every year Macy's has a two-week exhibition of exotic flowers and plants that are usually held at the beginning of May. They have plants and flowers that are showcased from around the world to transform and decorate Macy's Herald Square store in New York City.
Unfortunately, Macy's did not have a flower show last year due to Covid-19. I always look forward to attending the flower show each spring. You can read about my visits to the show here and here.
This year's theme was called A Celebration of Fortitude. I love visiting the show and I did not want to miss out on it this year.
When I arrived first thing in the morning, the outside of Macy's was decorated with beautiful pink flowers.
I enjoyed wandering around the first floor looking at all of the floral displays.
I enjoyed looking at this pretty butterfly display with different flowers.
On the sides of the store located on the second floor, you could look down and see the flower displays.
My favorite part of the flower show is looking at the mannequins and the pretty dresses. The girls are located on the first floor.
I went back up to the second floor to see more floral displays.
I had to get a better look at the floral butterfly display. The flowers looked so pretty but they were all faux flowers.
The flowers and plants seen below the butterfly were real.
I enjoyed looking at all the plants and floral displays and after that, I decided to do some shopping.
I knew I wanted to look at the Adidas superstar sneakers. The shoe department did not have my size sneaker and suggested that I look in the children's shoe department. I was happy that I found the sneakers in my size!
I had a great time at the flower show and shopping in Macy's. I look forward to visiting the show in the spring of 2022.
Have you ever visited the Macy's Flower Show?

Hello blog friends.
My husband and I had dinner out in New York City back in March. It was a rainy night but that didn't stop us from going out to dinner at our favorite Japanese restaurant Nobu Downtown. Nobu is located downtown in the heart of Manhattan's Financial District.
We passed the Oculus which is the World Trade Center transportation hub and a shopping mall.
It was wonderful to be out that evening because we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. It wasn't crowded due to the weather and it was when the restaurants were first opening up and starting to occupy at 50%.
To see the menu we could look at the code with our phones.
I had a delicious tasting Cosmopolitan martini and my husband had a special cucumber martini (photo not shown).
We both enjoyed snacking on the Edamame with our drinks.
The Yellowtail Jalapeno is one of our favorite dishes.
We loved the Lobster Shitake Salad with Spicy Lemon Dressing.
The Rock Shrimp Tempura is a favorite dish we both love.
We enjoyed the Black Cod with Miso.
My husband enjoyed his Toro.
We also had two Tacos that I forgot to photograph.
Even though it was a rainy night, we both enjoyed going out to dinner in the city.
Have you been out to any favorite restaurants lately?
