I recently visited the Macy's Flower Show in New York City and if you missed Part 1 you can read about it HERE. I have broken up the flower show into three parts due to so many photos that I had taken of it.
Today I'm sharing with you Part 2 of our tour of the Macy's Flower Show!
Below is what my friend and I saw as we entered the main entrance of Macy's. Look at that huge display and all of the colorful flowers.
If you look up at the top near the ceiling, we could see many floral displays.
Look at all of those pretty white lily flowers peeking through that Macy's sign.
You can see below the pretty floral hats on the manikins! I just love the one on the left with the pretty dress, hat, and flowers in the handbag.
Look below at the pretty pink and orange flowers. I just love the colors of them. :)
I'm not sure what these orange flowers are called, but I think they are just so pretty.
Some more lilies and pink tulips.
More yellow daffodils and pink colored plants.

Thanks everyone and enjoy!

Hello friends. I recently went to the Macy's Flower Show in New York City with a friend. It's been so many years since I've seen this spactacular show. It is always held each year in the spring. It was so fun to spend the day looking at spring plants and flowers and get some inspiration for spring gardening. Come along and let me show you our day!
We both got into the city early in the morning, as to avoid the big crowds of people who were there for the flower show and to shop in the store. Luckily the day that we went was a warm and sunny day.
We decided to look first at the outside windows displayed with all of their colorful flowers. I just love those hydrangeas and daffodils.
It was hard to get good photos of the flowers in the windows due to the reflection of the glass. The window below is of the redwood trees in California and the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge.
Next is the Southwest and look at the pretty flowers among the rocks.
Look at all those gorgeous white flowers.
I thought the display below of the dog, his toy, and bowl of water, was so adorable. The dog even has flowers around his neck for the collar.
Look at the different flower and plant combos. There is just so much inspiration for spring gardening.
Yellow daffodils are one of my favorite springtime flowers. I like the color contrast of the yellow and pink flowers.
Thanks everyone and enjoy!

I didn't want to overload you with too many photos in one post. I will be showing you the flower show broken up into two more posts. I will be showing you Part 2 of the flower show in another post next week.
Have you ever been to the Macy's Flower Show and did you see it this year?
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend. See you all back here on Monday for Cooking and Crafting with J & J Link Up!

Hello everyone. It's been a while since I've read a book that I really enjoyed, and I'd love to share it with you.
I was at a friend's house recently, when I noticed that she had so many mystery books on her huge bookshelf. I told her that I enjoy reading those type of books and she said that I could help myself to any of them I'd like to read. Well, I spotted this book and I thought that it looked good.

I was at a friend's house recently, when I noticed that she had so many mystery books on her huge bookshelf. I told her that I enjoy reading those type of books and she said that I could help myself to any of them I'd like to read. Well, I spotted this book and I thought that it looked good.
Summary from Back of the Book:
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Sandra Brown comes a heart-pounding story of survival that takes the age-old question "Does the end justify the means?" and turns it on its head.
Dr. Emory Charbonneau, a pediatrician and marathon runner, disappears on a mountain road in North Carolina. By the time her husband, Jeff, miffed over a recent argument, reports her missing, the trail has grown cold. Literally. Fog and ice encapsulate the mountainous wilderness and paralyze the search for her. While police suspect Jeff of "instant divorce," Emory finds herself held captive by a man whose violent past is so dark that he won't tell her his name. She's determined to escape from him and willing to take any risks necessary to survive. As her husband's deception is revealed, and the FBI closes in on her captor, Emory begins to wonder if the unnamed man is, in fact, her rescuer from those who wish her dead-and from heartbreak.
My Thoughts:
I was right! I was so happy to have found a book to relax and enjoy reading. I liked the book so much that I read it going on the train into the city, waiting in doctor's offices, during the afternoon, and reading right before bed time.
I enjoyed reading this fast paced book, that had so many twists and turns to the story. What I liked about this book is that it was full of action, it has a little bit of drama, suspense, and romance mixed in. This was an enjoyable, suspenseful, thriller and I thought I had the story all figured out at the end, but I was wrong.
It's the first time I've ever read a book by this author and I look forward to reading more of her mystery books.
Have you read any good books lately? If you do read this book, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend. See you all back here Monday for our Cooking and Crafting with J & J Link Up.

I enjoyed this early evening walk with Bosco. This was our view as the sun was starting to set. I loved looking at the water, and the tulips along the side of the road.

This spray is available in these stores; Sephora, Ulta, and online at; Amazon, beauty.com, glossybox.com, and at most fine beauty salons. The price is $25 in most of these places, but I saw it available online at Amazon for $14.61.
What I like about this spray is that there is no smell to it either!
