Hello friends. Today I'm sharing with you one of the easiest recipes to make Creamy Lemon Pie!
It's the perfect pie to make with Labor Day Weekend coming up soon.
I made this recently and it was a hit in my family. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did! :)
This is a classic old fashioned pie and I found the recipe right on the back of the bottle of ReaLemon.
What I love about this recipe is that there are just a few easy steps and ingredients, and you will have this delicious, creamy, lemon pie that everyone will love!

Hello friends. We recently took a family vacation to Hawaii and I'd love to share with you some photos I took of the trip.
We took a long plane ride of 10 hours to get to Honolulu, Hawaii. Even though the plane ride was long, it didn't seem so bad as I slept and read a lot. We arrived at the airport in the early afternoon and were each given a lei and then brought to our hotel to be checked in. Lucky for us Hawaii is 6 hours behind us.
We stayed for 4 days at the Hilton Hawaiian Village in the Rainbow Tower.
This is the view we had from our hotel room that overlooked the pool and beach.
This was our dinner the first evening that we arrived among many more delicious meals. A tropical drink, a fish burger and fries, vegetarian pasta, calamari, assorted poke (a fish salad), and for me a veggie burger and fries.
Assorted surf and paddle boards available to rent.
The beach during the day and the same beach at sunset.
The next day for breakfast my husband had a healthy smoothie drink (on the left), I had oatmeal (located on the top right) and my teen had an acai fruit smoothie bowl. Yum!
We arranged for a tour to see Pearl Harbor the next day. We took a bus, with other people, that gave us a tour of Honolulu, Hawaii State Capital Building, Iolani Palace, Washington Place, and Punchbowl National Cemetery. At the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, we saw a movie of the attack, and took a short boat ride to see the USS Arizona Memorial.
I would recommend to everyone to see this tour and a must see while there in Hawaii vacationing.
** There are also no handbags, or backpacks allowed on the site due to security reasons.
Below is a pool on top of one of the hotels on the complex that we were able to enjoy. On the other side of the pool was a small jacuzzi that I able to relax in and meet a nice Australian couple who were on vacation there too.
Many people paddle boarding in the small lagoon.
The white sandy beach was so beautiful and the water so warm and inviting to swim in. I really loved how the water had so many pretty shades of blue and we saw many tiny fish swimming by in the water.
We were also able to see the crew filming the TV show Hawaii Five-O on the beach right by the lagoon!
I am finally over my jet lag and feeling back to normal, which took us about a week to get over!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my first part of our Hawaii vacation. Stay tuned for more to come on our trip.
Hello friends. I wanted to get this post in before summer ends and share this easy grilling recipe with you.
Here in my family we love grilling all kinds of food, and vegetables are one of them.
Do you like grilling vegetables? Our favorite is grilled kale. It's so easy to make and tastes great along side any meat or fish dish. I love when the kale gets all nice and crunchy from grilling it. :)
I'd love to share with you this healthy and easy way to make grilled kale.
GRILLED KALE
INGREDIENTS:
1 large sheet of heavy duty tin foil
5 cups of kale - cleaned and chopped
olive oil - About 4 or 5 Tablespoons
salt and pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS:
Take tin foil sheet and spray with cooking spray. Then fold up the sides of the tin foil to form a tray. Mix together kale, olive oil, and salt and pepper in a bowl. Place kale on tin foil sheet. Grill kale on medium setting for 15 to 20 minutes.
** NOTE: This cooks down a bit. Also keep an eye on the kale so that it does not burn.
Done.
Thanks for everyone for stopping by and wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

Hello friends. I've been gone for a while but .....
I'm Back!!
I went on vacation with my family to Hawaii!!
If you follow me on Instagram, then you have already seen me post this photo there. I just love those palm trees and this is my new wallpaper on my phone.
We returned from our trip early yesterday morning and I'm now suffering from jet lag. Hawaii is 6 hours behind us. I will be back to feeling normal by next week.
I had a great time away on vacation visiting Honolulu and Maui. The weather is beautiful around 80 to 85 degrees everyday with no humidity and soft breezes. Everyday we had small rain showers that lasted for a few minutes. The beaches are spectacular, and the water is warm, and I loved how it had such pretty shades of blue.
I love traveling and visiting different parts of the world and I'm so happy that I was able to visit Hawaii since it was on my bucket list. This was my first time visiting there and I hope to visit it again someday.
I missed you all and I will be back to blogging and hosting on Monday with Jess our Cooking and Crafting with J & J Link Up.
Thanks everyone and enjoy!
Julie
