Here is an easy pasta recipe that I posted back in January of 2013 and I would love to share this recipe with you again. This recipe does not call for a lot of ingredients and it can be made fast and in no time. It's a family favorite in my house and I never have any leftovers.
PASTA PEAS AND BACON
INGREDIENTS:
1/2 1b. bacon - cut into small pieces
1 can peas (Save juice from can of peas for the recipe)
1 lb. box ditalini pasta
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
grated cheese
DIRECTIONS:
Cut bacon into small pieces and put into a large pot. Fry the bacon until it is crispy. Add 1 can of peas with juice to the pot and sauté. Add salt and pepper to the peas and mix all together. In another pot, cook the ditalini pasta until done according to the box directions. You can cook a 1/2 to 1 pound box of pasta according to how much pasta you desire. Drain pasta and add to the bacon and peas. Mix everything together and serve. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
I hope you try this recipe and let me know if you liked it.
