HAPPY 4TH OF JULY EVERYONE!

I wanted to wish everyone a fabulous week and Happy 4th of July.
I love celebrating the 4th of July with family and friends.
We usually spend it celebrating with family at a BBQ.

Last year I made and decorated these cupcakes with my daughter. We had so much fun icing the cupcakes to look like an American Flag.
The cupcakes are baked with Ducan Hines Cake Mix Classic Yellow in cupcake tins. For the frosting we used Duncan Hines Buttercream Creamy Home-Style Frosting and food coloring. So easy and fun to make.
The cupcakes at the BBQ party hosted by my brother and sister-in-law were a big hit!

We had watermelon and blueberries for dessert. It looked very festive.
We also enjoyed a cake with white frosting with red, white, and blue sprinkles on top.
If we don't go to any parties than we love going to the beach and eating mango pops.
Another fun thing to do is to go for a bike ride.

One of our favorite desserts is brownies. It's always fun eating brownies at a BBQ or get together.
SLUTTY BROWNIES
SLUTTY BROWNIES
1 Box of Betty Crocker Supreme Original Brownie Mix
1 Large Tube of Pillsbury Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
1 Box of Oreo Cookies
DIRECTIONS:
Grease bottom of 9 x 11 casserole dish. First layer with cookie dough evenly. Top with whole oreo cookies. Mix brownie mix according to box directions and pour over oreos and cookie dough. Bake according to box directions on brownie mix. Time may vary and just be sure to check with a toothpick if brownies are cooked enough. They can be somewhat gooey. Best served warm.
Whatever you do, I hope you add a little creativity to your life.

Hi friends, with the 4th of July fast approaching I did not have any time to make any new patriotic crochet projects this year.

The 4th of July is less than 2 weeks away and I thought that I would share with you this fabulous drink for the 4th of July Holiday.
Doesn't it look so pretty with the layers of colors? My daughter found out how to make this on YouTube named Bethany Moto.
Here are the ingredients you will need to make this drink.
Sprite Zero, Cranberry Juice and Light Blue Frost Gatorade.
Directions:
First take a large glass and fill it to the top with ice cubes and then add your Cranberry Juice. Next add the Sprite Zero and then the Gatorade. To make the colors really stand out I added a little bit of red food coloring and blue food coloring.
Here you have your 4th of July Drink. If you want to add any alcohol for the grown ups, you could add vodka.
I used a Mason Jar which is all the rage right now. Try it out and have some fun!
