Hello friends! I was in the mood to make something patriotic with my cotton yarn and I decided to crochet this American Flag coaster.
I searched on Pinterest for a pattern and it can be found here. This pattern calls for a lot of color change when crocheting.
The red, white, and blue yarn I used to make this is Lion Brand Yarn Kitchen Cotton. You can use any cotton yarn in those colors that you like. The crochet hook is a US size I.
I tried my best with the color change but it's not too easy as you can see in some of the blue area on the coaster. It may not be perfect but I sure had fun making it!
Are you working on any fun projects right now?
Julie
This is so cute Julie! I can picture a bunch of these strung together as a banner for across a front porch!
