Today is Bosco's 13th Birthday!
We rescued Bosco when he was only 6 months old. We found Bosco on the website Pet Finder.
My daughter saw Bosco and decided that he was the dog she wanted to adopt.
When we adopted Bosco from a house in New Jersey, Bosco wasn't his name. His name was Short Stop. We decided we didn't like the way his name sounded or flowed. I guess his foster parents liked baseball. I liked the name Bosco because it reminded me of the chocolate syrup my mom used to make us chocolate milk. I thought that Bosco sounded like a sweet name.
Poor Bosco was returned twice before we adopted him. When we adopted Bosco he was so sick. We took him to the vet and helped to get him better. He just needed some meds and tender loving care.
Bosco has the sweetest personality and gets along great with people, kids, dogs, and cats.
Bosco loves his car rides with us around town or on long car rides.
Here he is hiding underneath the dining room table. I love how he had that look like you found me, mom!
Bosco is so affectionate and he even knows when to cheer us up. He is such a pleasure and we look forward to celebrating more birthdays with him.

ReplyDeleteWe don't know our little pup's birthday, like yours he was adopted. He was abandoned and sent to the shelter after no-one collected him at the pound so he's just a mystery! We have a vague guess at his age but who knows really!

Bosco is nice dog. In SuperDog costume Bosco is ready to fly and help other dogs lol. Nice post toy shop
