Hello blog friends.
Happy First Day of Spring!
Spring is one of my favorite seasons and I love the sunny days and pretty flowers blooming in my gardens. This will be the first spring that I won't be able to enjoy it freely because of the coronavirus. I usually like to go to a large garden center to pick out all of my flowers and vegetables. I probably won't go because of the large crowds of people.
Luckily, I have a neighbor who is going to help me map out and plan my container gardening by planting seeds. I will probably buy my seeds and trays online.
I want to plant tomatoes, peppers, and lettuce. I also want to plant flowers that are easy to grow from seeds.

Bosco and I like getting out for our walks in the neighborhood. We've been careful and we are practicing social distance. Bosco is the lucky one and doesn't have to worry about anything except to be loved by his family.

Enjoy your first day of spring.
I'm looking forward to the flower popping up around the garden. I already have a few daffodils. That's nice you can get out for walks with Bosco. I'm sure it helps during this time to have that sweet guy around.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea to buy your seeds online, Julie! I don't know why I didn't think of that! I'm going to miss going to the garden centers and buying the pretty little flower plants! Thank goodness for the perennials bursting out and blooming right now to brighten our days and help to keep our spirits up!
ReplyDeleteHave fun with your gardens Julie! Happy Spring, here's hoping for brighter days soon:@)
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring, Julie! I'm ready for flowers, too...
ReplyDeleteCherries have started blossoming here and they are quite a sight! With all the people huddled at home, it is really enjoyable listening to the silence and the birds chirping!
ReplyDeleteHappy spring!
Good idea to buy your seeds online. I love that trees and flowers are blooming already! And we've had some wonderful weather today! Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteYes, I usually buy my flowers in a gardening center and hoping to do that in the next few months. If not I will be planting seeds. Thanks for the blog visit and happy spring.
DeleteHappy Spring, Julie! Things are changing so quickly it's hard to consider how all the changes are going to affect our lives. I hadn't considered not getting my plants at my local plant store. Hmm. I can grow most of my veggies from seed but not my tomatoes and cabbages. May have to see if I can order those plants online. Good luck on growing your flowers from seed! Natives are great!! Z
ReplyDeleteI am hoping in the next few months to buy my plants and flowers in the garden center. If not I will be using seeds. Thanks for the blog visit and happy spring.
DeleteWhat lovely flowers! It's a shame you can't go out but good you can still order things online, and you're able to do social distancing. We are having to do social distancing here too, it's a strange new world!
ReplyDeleteHope that your week is going okay with everything happening right now!
And what a strange spring it is this year.
