London Trip - Day 1

Hello friends, I'm back from my trip to London and I want to tell you all about it.  I will be breaking it up into several blog posts so that I can continue to blog about other topics.  Please stay tuned to see all of the exciting updates about the trip.

London - Day 1 - July 23, 2013

My husband, daughter and I arrived at London's Heathrow Airport in the evening and we collected all our luggage and took the Heathrow Express into Paddington Station, London.

We then took a short taxi ride to our hotel.  I do love the taxi's.


When we arrived at the hotel The Westbury there was fresh fruit and chocolates waiting for us.

Once we were all settled in, we decided to take a stroll and have a late dinner.

We found off of Regent Street an alley way that had a lot of restaurants and it had a fun atmosphere.  We went to a restaurant called Tibits which has vegetarian food.  It is located on Heddon Street which is a short stroll from famous Piccadilly Circus.  The food was buffet style and I recommend it.

We walked a little bit more and then we went back to the hotel room for the night.  That was our first day of the trip and please look for more updates coming soon.
