Last week I went to my Crochet Group at my church and my friend Rachel taught me how to crochet a baby hat. I crocheted it in 30 minutes and the pattern even had decrease in it. This week she was nice enough to sit with me and teach me how to crochet a baby poncho from a pattern she had. I worked on it for about an 1 1/2 hours at the meeting yesterday. When I got home I was so excited to be learning something new that I finished the poncho last night! I now have a completed baby hat and poncho set that I will be giving to the Christmas Fair our church has in the fall. I have learned two new patterns in the past 2 weeks and I will be making more sets through the rest of the year for the sale because they gave me more yarn to use. I will also be able to make a set for someone in our family if they have a baby.
I love learning new patterns and I am happy that my friend Rachel was willing to sit with me and teach me.
