Friday Favorites - May

May 1, 2020

Hello blog friends.

Yay!  Happy Friday and Happy May!

1.  Spring Flowers
I'm so happy we made it to May and I'm looking forward to planting more flowers and veggies in my garden.

I love seeing all of the pretty flowers as I take walks in my neighborhood.

2.  Instagram Photo
I spotted this photo on Instagram @flow_grow_glow on how to grow arugula.  I make a lot of salads using arugula lettuce.  I hope to grow some this summer.

3.  Making Soup
I have been making soup every week for a while.  I found this recipe for Instant Pot Bean Soup at the blog Pressure Luck Cooking.  There is a video to watch with easy directions.  We had this soup for dinner recently and it was a hit.  I also made the Instant Pot Stuffed Artichokes using the recipe from Pressure Luck Cooking blog and it's a winner.

4.  Different Moods of Bosco
We've been having a lot of rain lately.  Bosco just hates the rain just like his mom!  Bosco decided to come into the basement and watch me do the laundry.  LOL.  Now if only he could do the laundry!

Bosco decided one evening that he was going to have a Zoom meeting with his buddies.  Bosco even brought his water with him to the meeting.

I hope all is well with you.  Have a happy Friday and weekend.

  3. Julie, I’ve been having soup a lot lately, too. Our Spring is taking her time coming to our neighborhood and that’s fine with me. Our Sallie loves spending time with my husband but he’s been busy with Turkey season and she’s feeling a bit neglected. She’s been helping me in the garden but I think I’m a poor substitute! Have a great weekend! Zenda

  6. I don't know if it has anything to do with the craziness, but spring seems especially pretty this year.

  7. Little Bosco is sooooo cute. Buddy does not like when it rains either. I hope after this next week I can start my planting and flowers. We have this week coming up with some cooler temps so I will wait until next weekend.
It is 75 and sunny today. Wish everyday could be this nice and warm. Have a good weekend.
    Hugs,
    Kris

  12. Your tulips are so pretty. I used to have some in the yarn, but over time I think the squirrels have gotten them, only a few bloomed this year. Popped in from Party in Your PJ's

    1. Thanks for the blog visit and your comment Sandy. The squirrels get into my potted flowers and veggies which is so annoying.
