It's the perfect pie to make with Labor Day Weekend coming up soon.
I made this recently and it was a hit in my family. I hope you enjoy this as much as we did! :)
This is a classic old fashioned pie and I found the recipe right on the back of the bottle of ReaLemon.
What I love about this recipe is that there are just a few easy steps and ingredients, and you will have this delicious, creamy, lemon pie that everyone will love!
LEMON PIE RECIPE
LEMON PIE
INGREDIENTS:
3 egg yolks
1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup ReaLemon
2 or 3 drops yellow food coloring, optional
1 (8 or 9-inch) baked pastry shell or graham cracker crumb crust (I used Keebler Ready Crust)
Whipped cream or whipped topping (I used Cool Whip)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Beat egg yolks in medium sized bowl with rotary beater or fork; gradually beat in condensed milk and ReaLemon. Stir in food coloring if desired. Pour into pastry shell or crumb crust.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until set. Remove from oven. Cool 1 hour. Chill at least 3 hours. Before serving, spread whipped topping over pie. Refrigerate leftovers.
Done.
Don't forget that the holidays will be approaching soon and this would be an easy dessert recipe to make.
