Hi friends. I hope you are all having a nice week and getting ready for Halloween.
Here at our house I love decorating for Halloween with cute decorations. In our house we do not like scary or skulls or anything bloody.
I did not buy any new Halloween decorations for inside the house this year. I just used the crochet pumpkins that I made last year to add into my mantel. I also crocheted a ghost that hangs from my mantel.
I added into my window box on my stoop some small scarecrows and as you can see the flowers are still blooming and have not died. I love mums and have them too on the steps will some small pumpkins. I also have a ghost hanging on my front door.

As you can see I have been motivated this year to crochet some of my own decorations. It's fun and I did not spend a lot of money on the yarn.
I know many of you have made your own awesome decorations for fall and Halloween. Thanks for keeping me motivated to make my own decorations!

ReplyDeleteAdorable décor! To be honest, I love a mixture of both, but never anything overtly macabre or bloody. I still have little ones about! :)

What pretty and festive decorations! Do you get many (any?) trick or treaters?
ReplyDeleteGreat decorations Julie. I don't do really scary decorations. Just a few rats and black spiders. Mostly scarecrows and pumpkins.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy - love all the decoration that you make.

Mary
Lovely decorations! We don't do scary or anything like that either. Just smiling pumpkins and autumnal things! xx
ReplyDeleteI don't really decorate for Halloween much at home these days but I do a few cute things at school. I do not like scary or gross decorations at all! I mainly just decorate with fall colors and pumpkins and such. I can't get to my decorations this year so I have very little up. I did buy a couple things at Hobby Lobby yesterday and will share soon. Nothing much though...:) Happy Friday!
ReplyDeleteI do a little bit of both :-) Your decorations are very festive. They look great.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
❤️Ana
I enjoyed looking at your decorations! I like happy pumpkins and lots of fall colors. I don't like scary or horrid things. I do love to decorate for all the holidays. Happy Halloween.
ReplyDeleteCute and lots of pumpkins!!! I don't care for the scary and gorey stuff. Have a wonderful weekend and hope you get lots of cute little trick-or-treaters!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Julie, all your decor is wonderful. I don't do gory decorations either. I go for more of a harvest look with lighted pumpkins on the porch for Halloween night. Enjoy the weekend and Happy Halloween. cm
ReplyDeleteI love that you crochet some of your decorations Julie. I don't decorate for Halloween at all. Although I've always loved the holiday, I'm not a huge fan of the decorations, especially the scary ones. I prefer just keeping things 'fallish'.
ReplyDeleteWe have zero trick or treaters also, so not a lot of reasons to go all out. Have fun this weekend!
These are all so beautiful!! As we don't celebrate Halloween, these decoration are all new to me and exciting to see :)
