Mommy Reality Challenge #31 - Room With a View

Here is what our back yard and side yard looked like last week.  We had about 7 inches of snow last Wednesday and this is what I saw when I looked outside.

The temperature will be warmer this week and we'll have some melting of snow that has fallen all winter.  I will be so happy when I do not see any more snow.

Jen from JENerally Informed and Celeste from Leapfrog and Lipgloss are hosting this Mommy Challenge and the topic this week is Room With a View.

Thanks ladies for this fun topic and challenge.

  1. Winter always sticks around longer than you want it to. At least it seems that way to me. Hang in there Julie, Spring is coming.

  5. Well, is started snowing here on Friday but it didn't have any strength to pile it up. Streets clean, sky grim, weather yucky! In desperate need for spring!

  10. Brrrrr, 7 inches here in Southern Arizona would be like the end of the world! It would shut the whole county down I think. Stay warm!

  14. That snow wouldn't last long in the 80 degree weather we've been having this week. I'm not complaining though. I much prefer warm weather. The snow is pretty though and u sometimes wish it snowed here once a year...:) Hope you're having a lovely week Julie!

  15. gosh that is a sad view, this winter just seems to be lasting too long. At least we have a bit of sunshine here to brighten the days after months of rain, rain and more rain.... and isn´t next month April usually a rainy month too??, sigh.

  16. Hi Julie, great shot of one snowy and cold view. I hope it all melts this week and you can see the green again. It's been a long winter.
I got this in my inbox yesterday but I was gone all day. It did finally arrive the day after you posted but at least we know the follow by email is back working.
    Hugs, CM

  18. Ugh! Snow! I can't wait until it all goes away. Everything looks dirty and ugly right now. We need a good, soaking rain to wash away the grime and salt. I think tonight on my walk, I'm taking a garbage bag with me to pick-up the trash that was caught under the snow, since the lazy people in my subdivision won't do it.
