Lunch Fun

March 12, 2015

Hi friends!  My family and I went out to eat recently at a restaurant called BAREBURGER for lunch.  I'd love to share with you our fun experience and some photos.

The front of the menu is a bear riding on a bicycle holding a burger and beer which I thought was really cute.

The fun thing about this restaurant is that they serve organic salads, organic sandwiches, burgers, and organic shakes.  The great thing is that you can customize your food, such as the bread, the type of burger meat, and toppings.

I took a few photos of the decor.  The chandeliers are made out of forks, spoons and knives.  The decor is very rustic with tin ceilings, brick walls and wood floors.

There are all sorts of different sauces available and the burger seen below is wrapped in collard greens.  We also had carrot salad served in a mason jar and crunchy onion rings.

We had white peach iced tea, the best french fries and you can see another burger wrapped in collard greens.  I had a bison cheese burger with pickles, tomato, and red onion on a bun that just melted in your mouth.

We love trying out different restaurants!  We love this place so much that we have been there three times already.  Do you have a favorite restaurant that you like?

UPDATE:  The snow has melted and most of it's gone.  I promise no more talk about SNOW!

Enjoy the end of the week and weekend!

  15. Sounds like a terrific place, Julie! Glad you enjoyed it. We like a barbecue chain in Fort Worth called Riscky's; they have the best ribs, brisket sandwiches and fried pickles of any place we know!

  16. Any restaurant that isn't a chain and does things a little differently is a keeper in my book. Those fries and rings look amazing!

We definitely have our favorite places, but always enjoy trying out new ones as well.
