This is a light salad that is healthy and perfect to have as a side dish or you could add it to pita bread and make a sandwich out of it. I'd love to share with you this easy recipe.
Tuna and Chickpea Salad Recipe
Ingredients:
1 7oz. can Bumble Bee Tuna - Solid White Albacore in Water - drained
1 15 oz. can Chick Peas - Garbanzos - rinsed and drained
1/4 cup red onion - chopped
4 tablespoons red wine vinegar
4 tablespoons olive oil
salt & pepper to taste
Directions:
Drain tuna from can and chop up in a bowl with a fork. Add drained and rinsed chick peas to bowl. Next add the rest of the ingredients and mix everything together. Done

Our family has enjoyed this salad for years, only we use white cannolini beans. My mom always made it for a Friday supper with vegetable fritatta and fried potatoes. Oh, yum!!!
