Week 24 - Kirkland Daily Facial Towelettes
Hi friends, I hope you all enjoyed your summer and Labor Day Weekend. I totally enjoyed my summer and it just went by too fast for me. I am so happy to be starting up my Makeup Monday again and welcome to Week 24 of the series.
I used to use Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes to remove all traces of my makeup but I was paying $7 for a 25 count package. I really liked the Neutrogena brand but I'm a member of Costco and I wanted to try out the Kirkland Daily Facial Towelettes.
I really love the Kirkland Daily Facial Towelettes and they take off all of my makeup and it's gentle and not irritating around my eye area. I use regular mascara and it takes it off easily and the rest of my makeup with one sheet. It says that you do not need to rinse but I always clean my face with Clinque cleanser afterwards. The towelettes are made with a mild formula that contains cucumber, chamomile flower extract, and aloe to remove all traces of makeup, oil and dirt.
In the box of Kirkland Daily Facial Towelettes you get 150 count all together in the box. It contains (4) - 30 count flip top lid packs and (2) - 15 count travel packs for the price of $11.99 for the whole box. That is a huge savings! I usually split up the packs with my daughter and I feel happy that I know I'm saving a lot of money and still using a good product.
If it's not convenient to get to Costco then I suggest using the Neutrogena Makeup Remover Towelettes.
* Makeup Tip - Always remove all your makeup at night and wash your face with a facial cleanser.
What do you use to remove your makeup?
Thanks so much for stopping by this week for Makeup Monday and see you all next week.
Thanks everyone and Enjoy!
Julie
Thanks, Julie. I am a fan of Kirkland products, but haven't tried these. Will put them on my list for my next trip to Costco. Hope you're having a great weekend.
ReplyDeletethanks for this great information Julie. I am so allergic to most makeup that I only use lipstick a little blush and eye pencil. If I am really going someplace special I will put on my foundation and very little eye shadow, but then my eyes start watering. I use Dove soap and water to cleanse my face twice a day or more if it's to hot.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for your kind comments on my post. It sure was a fun place to shop - so many pretty items.
Have a great week.
Mary
I've used Jergens Facial Cream for 45 years...and Clinque makeup.
ReplyDeleteI use a Neutrogena Gentle Facial Cleanser and I love it. I have never tried the towels...may have to check them out! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to know about the towlettes. They would be great for traveling, too. I have to admit....I wash my face with Johnson and Johnson Purpose soap at night. It's very gentle for sensitive skin. Then I put Curel fragrance free lotion on. That's all I do! Enjoy your day! Love this series my friend! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteHey Julie... I actually use these. I love them. They do a great job of removing the make up. I then cleanse my face with either Eucerin Redness Relief or CeraVe
ReplyDeleteFacial Cleansers. And always with a clean white washcloth.

This is good to know Julie. You're right, this is a great savings! I have a terrible habit sometimes of going to bed so late and tired that I use a facial wipe and an eye makeup remover pad, brush my teeth, slap on some moisturizer and fall into bed. Not good to just rely on those wipes, and not use a cleanser, but they are handy :)
ReplyDeleteI use the Neutrogena ones now, but they arree expensive. We don't have Costco here, but we do have Sam's Club. I wonder if they sell these...I'll have to check next time I visit. Have a blessed day...:)
ReplyDeleteFate must have brought us together today Julie, you don't know how much I have been wanting to find a product like this!! And Costco is a weekly stop for me, I can't wait to get some! Thank you so so much!!

That is amazing savings Julie! I find regular brands better than name brands sometimes. So good for you!
ReplyDeleteThanks for this tip, Julie - a wonderful savings. I will pass this on to my daughters, too. xo Karen
ReplyDeleteHi Julie! I use Oil of Olay Regenerist cleanser - it works pretty well, I think. I also use cosmetic grade coconut oil as an eye makeup remover - it works really well and does not irritate my eyes at all. If I decide to try a towelette I will keep these in mind.
ReplyDeleteThey sound great Julie, I need to try some :)

Excellent review, Julie. I often buy makeup remover towelettes so I was interested to learn about both Neutrogena and Kirkland brand. Thank you for sharing with the Hearth and Soul hop.
