It's been a while since I've done a beauty blog post. The last time I did one was last spring.
I thought it would be a great time to share my thoughts on the eye masks I've been using.
I did a blog post in May about the eye masks I purchased from Ulta Beauty. You can read that blog post here.
I love to pamper myself by moisturizing the skin under my eye area with these eye masks. I've been using them for about five months. I apply the eye masks for about 15 to 20 minutes in the morning or evening. The eye masks help diminish the look of fine lines and wrinkles and reduces the look of puffiness.
These eye masks would make a great splurge gift for the holidays.
I also purchased these eye masks after seeing them mentioned on Lindsay's Sweet World. These eye masks are sold on Amazon for only $12.39. This is a huge price difference compared to the Peter Thomas Roth eye masks shown above, which cost $75. I like these eye patches for the price point. This jar is not as elegant as the other one but still good.

Happy May everyone. It's been a while since I've done a beauty blog post. I've purchased some new beauty products that I'd love to share with you.
Peter Thomas Roth 24K Gold Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Hydra-Gel Eye Patches
A sales associate at Ulta Beauty suggested I try these eye patches. These eye patches are used to moisturize your under-eye area. I've never used these before and I decided to give them a try. I use these eye patches for my daily morning routine. For my daily morning routine, I usually leave these eye patches on for 15 minutes. Afterwards, it leaves my eye area feeling soft and moisturized. I asked my dermatologist about these eye patches and she said it's just another way of moisturizing the under eye area.😞 I'm not sure if I will be using these again.
I saw these eye masks mentioned on Lindsay's blog. They are only $12.39 on Amazon. This is a HUGE difference in money compared to the ones by Peter Thomas Roth. I am tempted to give these a try.

Peter Thomas Roth Instant Firm Eye Temporary Eye Tightener
This is another eye product that I purchased after hearing good things about this product. You apply this cream to your under-eye area and it temporarily tightens and firms your eye wrinkles. I even applied a small amount on my forehead to smooth out some lines. You need to get used to a tight feeling after applying the cream. You also need to apply a small amount of this cream or you will notice some dry white cream in the eye area. This is a temporary eye firm fix.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream Intense Hydration Cream
I have very dry hands, especially during the winter months. This hand cream from Sephora works great in softening my hands.
Maybelline Dream Urban Cover Foundation - Broad Spectrum SPF 50
I bought this broad-spectrum SPF 50 foundation at Walgreens. It was only $13 and works great for a light coverage foundation with sunscreen in it. This is a foundation product that I like and I will continue to replace it when needed. This foundation is similar to the IT Cosmetics Foundation. I found the It Cosmetics foundation to be a thicker consistency and pricier than the Maybelline foundation. I usually use this light foundation in the spring and summer months.
Lily and Fox Nail Wraps
I was on Instagram recently and I saw these nail wraps. They were only $2.99 and so I bought five sets for only $15. Lily and Fox even included a sample set for me to try out. I like these cute nail wraps but they only stayed on my nails for about three days. I will try them out again and hopefully, they will last longer than three days. I applied them to one nail on each hand as an accent nail, being that it was my first time using these nail wraps.
Olay Regenerist Advanced Micro Sculpting Cream
I recently bought this cream at Costco and you can see my Costco finds blog post here. I've been using this face cream and I love the way it makes my face feel soft and smooth.
La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum by Lancome
This perfume is favorite of mine and is available at Ulta Beauty. It would make a great gift idea for Mother's Day.

Hello friends, it's been a while since I've done a beauty post. I have some beauty products that I'd love to share with you.
Tarte SEA Drink of H20 Hydrating Boost Moisturizer
I did some holiday shopping at Sephora and I received a sample of this Tarte Cream. I've been using this cream on my face in the morning. It's a lightweight cream that has a light scent. This sample will be perfect to pack for when I travel.
OPI Impress Color Press-On Manicure
I did a blog post back in the fall about press-on nails after learning about them from Kim. I bought these online at Ulta and I like how easy they are to apply and wear. The nails were about $10 a set.
Here are some examples of how I look with the press-on nails. It takes a while to get used to wearing them but they last about a week. They take about a half-hour to apply. I took Kim's advice and I usually do them in the evening.
I bought this set of nails at my local Walgreens store. I got a compliment on my nails when I went for a doctor's appointment.
I ordered this set of nails from Amazon and they were only $7.
Essence Lash Princess Curl Mascara
I had to try out this mascara after hearing about it from a friend and from Ann at Our New Vista. I ordered this mascara from Amazon and it was only $5. It works great and you can't beat the price. This mascara is also available at Ulta.
Garnier Whole Blends Shampoo Bar
I decided to try out this shampoo bar after seeing an ad for it on Instagram. I thought this was a great idea and I like that the shampoo is in a bar and not in a plastic bottle. I bought one for my husband's Christmas stocking and these shampoo bars are from Amazon.
Amika Hair Products
My daughter gifted me items for Christmas with a sample set for my hair at the Sephora store. My hairstylist uses Amika mouse on my hair, so I was excited to try out some more of those hair products.
I tried this Amika bust your brass cool blonde shampoo and I like it. You use this purple shampoo when your blonde hair starts to look brassy.
This Amika bust your brass conditioner works just as well for brassy hair.
I love how this Amika perk up dry shampoo works. There is no smell and it works great if you don't want to wash your hair every day.
Bumble and Bumble Thickening Full Form Soft Mousse
I'm excited to use this mousse after receiving it for Christmas from my daughter. I have thin and fine hair. I'm hoping this mousse works on making my hair look fuller. I love trying out new beauty products.
Sexy Hair Big Fun Raiser
I did a blog post about some sample products I received from Ulta. This dry spray works great in volumizing your hair. This is a great sample product to use when traveling.
The Ordinary
This Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil is perfect to use at bedtime and another Christmas gift from my daughter. This is a thick oil that soaks right into the skin. This will be great to use this winter.
Pure Botanicals Concentrated Eye Serum
This is another product my daughter bought for me for Christmas. This is a new product and I use this eye serum before bed.
NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment
I picked this up at the Sephora store for my SIL for Christmas and one for myself. The shade I bought for myself is called American Woman. I love how this matte lip pigment stays on my lips for hours and won't budge.
Thayers Witch Hazel
This is another product that is new to me and I love using this on my face. This is another beauty gift from my daughter for Christmas. I like to spray this witch hazel mist on my face before I apply my cream and makeup in the morning.

I took advantage of a sale going on last month at Ulta Beauty. The sale was if you spend $80, you get a makeup bag full of samples. I took advantage of this sale and ordered my items online. I also had a $25 gift card to use up from my husband, and $3 in points.
The best part about Ulta Beauty is that they always have sales going on. This is a great way to try out new makeup and beauty products. It's so easy to accumulate points too. If you spend $35, you get free shipping on the items you purchase.
Above are all of the samples that came in the pink makeup bag seen below. I will be trying out some of these samples and using some for stocking stuffers for Christmas.
Physicians Formula Butter Blush - I've never tried this blush before and I decided to give it a try. I liked that this blush comes in a small case with a compartment for a brush and mirror. I honestly don't think I will continue to use this blush. I've used this blush a few times and it has a slight smell to the blush that I don't like. I like using makeup that doesn't have a scent. I did like the packaging and the blush color. Do you have any recommendations on a blush that you use and has no scent?
Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara - This mascara is a favorite of my daughter and me. This mascara was trending last year on TikTok and Instagram. This mascara creates long, thin lashes with no smudging or flaking. It's also easy to remove with makeup remover wipes.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer - This concealer is another one of my favorites and I order this every time I am running low. If I don't order it from Ulta, then I will pick it up if I am in a drug store. It glides on easily with a sponge tip and it comes in many shades.
If you ordered items from Maybelline this sample set came with my order free. I received a small mascara, setting spray, and liquid eyeliner. I will be using these for stocking stuffers.
NYX Professional Makeup Retractable Eye Pencil - There was a special if you bought two eyeliners, you get one free. I took advantage of that sale. I love using Olive eyeliner for my eyes.
Impress Color OPI Press On Nails - I ordered these press-on nails after seeing them on Kim's Nails. I've never tried these before and I'm excited to try them out. I usually go to the nail salon and get gel manicures. My last manicure lasted me one week after peeling off of my nails. Usually, I will get a gel manicure and it will last me about two weeks. I am taking a break from gel manicures and I look forward to trying out these press-on nails. I hope they work out and thanks Kim for the recommendation.
I also ordered some surprise gifts for my daughter and husband for the holidays. The experts are saying that some items won't be available and I'm hoping that it won't be the case for holiday shopping.

Hello blog friends. I haven't done a beauty products blog post in a long time. I thought it would be fun to share with you four of my favorite beauty products that I use regularly.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Cream
I love using this cream on my face every morning before I apply my makeup. This cream is light and it soaks right into the skin on my face to make it feel soft and moisturized. This cream is unscented too. I can usually buy a large bottle of this cream at Costco.
It - Confidence in a Cream Anti-Aging Moisturizer
I love to apply this face cream at night time. The consistency of this cream feels a little heavier when applied to my face and it's perfect for nighttime use. If you have very dry skin then this cream is great to use for your morning routine. I've been using this cream since January and I think it works well to make my skin feel soft and moisturized and you don't need to use a lot of this cream.
Biolage All-In-One Coconut Infusion Multi-Benefit Spray
This spray is my all-time favorite hair product. I heard about this product a while ago from blogger Andrea at Living on Cloud Nine. I like how it works at taming my frizzy hair, it detangles the knots, and it adds shine to my hair. The best part is that it smells like coconuts and reminds me of the beach. Have you tried this hair product?
Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion
I'm not sure if this is considered a beauty product but it's a favorite moisturizing lotion that my family likes to use. I like that I can buy this daily moisturizing lotion in a 2-pack at Costco.
