Lessons in Chemistry seems to be a popular book. I will have to get it from the library to read. Have a good new week. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteGreat list....will have to add these to my To Be Read list! I loved Lessons in Chemistry, too. I also enjoyed Horse, by Geraldine Brooks; Lady Tan's Circle of Women, by Lisa See; and Remarkable Bright Creatures, by Shelby Van Pelt. My goal was to read my age...68 - I fell short and only read 48. This year I am shooting for 50 - a book a week. Happy reading !
ReplyDeleteGreat choices Julie. I started watching Lessons in Chemistry. Winter is a good time to read and relax. Happy week ahead.
ReplyDeleteYou read a lot of books Julie!! I'll have to check out some that I haven't read yet. My favorite book was Remarkably Bright Creatures!
ReplyDeleteI really need to give Lessons in Chemistry another try. I didn't finish it, but it might have just not been the right timing for me.
ReplyDeleteJulie,
ReplyDeleteI am impressed...I set a goal of reading 9 books over the Summer and Only read 6!! I can not seem to find the time BUT as a goal this year, I plan on reading more!!! I see you read the Haunting of Hill House...Did you watch the show on Netflix, I believe....I loved it....It was so good...I hope you are having a great week!!
Hugs,
Deb
You read some really great books last year! Wishing you another wonderful reading year.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of books Julie I have read some of them I have just started the Miss Reed Thrush Green Books I'm hoping to read my way through them throughout 2024. xx
ReplyDeleteI’m impressed with all the books you’ve read, Julie! Thank you for sharing your list and your favorite one. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThis is a great list of books! I did enjoy the Lessons in Chemistry book but I wouldn't have said it was my favourite. I was a bit unimpressed with the One Italian Summer book by Rebecca Serle, did you enjoy it? I preferred her book in 5 years, although I'm still wanting to read her new one when it comes out! :)
ReplyDeleteWow Julie, that's some list! I just joined the winter reading challenge at my library and I'm in the middle of two books now. They're a nice distraction from this blustery winter weather we're having!
