Hi friends. I was so busy last month crocheting star ornaments for friends and family for the holidays.
Crochet Star made with red and white yarn |
I made the stars in all different colors and I had so much fun making them. They are quick and easy to make and will look perfect on your Christmas Tree.
These make cute homemade ornaments to give for gifts, and they would even look cute to use as a gift tag on a package. Another idea is using them to make a garland for your mantel or tree.

DETAILS TO MAKE A CROCHET STAR ORNAMENT:
Pattern: I used this PATTERN to crochet the star ornament.
Yarn: I used white and red kitchen cotton yarn from Lion Brand Yarn to create them. You can use whatever yarn you like for the star and any color yarn.
Hook: You can use an H or I crochet hook.
I hope I have inspired you to create your own crochet star ornaments.

Those are cute, Julie. Crocheting is a work of art to me. I need to learn to crochet, I think! My grandmother used to make tatted ornaments and then starch them stiff. That was a real art form, too. xo Diana

ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute. I wish I had learned to crochet from my grandmother when she tried to teach me. Just never got the hang of it. Wish I was more patient and had learned how to do this. Your stars are adorable.
