Hello blog friends. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving spent with your family and friends. I'm sure you all had a lot to eat and your all stuffed! Lol!!
Today I would love to share with you an easy salad to make. Have you ever had broccoli slaw salad before? Well this is such an easy way to make salad and it can be ready in minutes. I love making all kinds of salads and I'd love to share this with you.
I bought the Organic Broccoli Slaw from Trader Joe's and I just used their recipe on the back of the package to make this salad.
For the salad dressing I used 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of red wine vinegar, and seasoned it with salt and pepper. You can use Italian Dressing or you can add whatever salad dressing you like and this salad will still taste great.
This is an easy salad idea to make for dinner, a party, or for the holidays.
BROCCOLI SLAW SALAD RECIPE
Ingredients:
1 Bag 12oz. Trader Joe's Broccoli Slaw
1/4 cup Dried Cranberries or Raisins - (I used Cranberries)
1/4 cup Walnuts, chopped
1 cup Apples, diced
1 cup of your favorite salad dressing (you can use less salad dressing if you like)
Directions:
In a medium sized mixing bowl, combine broccoli slaw, dried cranberries, chopped walnuts and diced apples. Add dressing and mix thoroughly.
Done.
*** If you don't have a Trader's Joes where you live, they might have a bag of Broccoli Slaw in the salad section of your local grocery store.
