While we were visiting with family recently, I took this photo from their apartment of the New York City skyline at sunset.
I used the same photo and made this picture using the Waterlogue app.
Have you tried this app yet? I love making my photos look like paintings!
Thanks everyone and Enjoy!
Julie
I have not tried it yet-but I love it and will certainly make some "paintings" of my own! Thank you so much for sharing this!
ReplyDeleteWow...I will have to check that out Julie. I still have NYC on my bucket list of places to visit.
ReplyDeleteHi Julie, yes, it's my favorite app as I love water painting. You're photos of the sunset in NYC is gorgeous. I miss being there. It's been too long and I need to visit again hopefully soon. Have a wonderful Wedesday!

ReplyDeleteI really must get an iPhone Julie! My son laughs at my phone and shows me the photo he takes and they are better than my cameras!! Maybe Christmas!! xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous view to look at every day and night!
ReplyDeleteThat painting look is amazing. My husband and I discovered just the other day that we can make characters with photos we take on our phone, it's pretty cool.
Enjoy your day, Debbie
Wow that's a nice skyline they've got to look at every single day. #lucky!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't used this app, but have seen others doing so, and I think the results are fantastic, your picture shows it off particularly well - but I like your straight photos too! xx
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous! That would make such a beautiful set of notecards, wouldn't it? I love to play with Waterlogue on my IPAD! Some photos work so much better than others. You are so smart! Hugs, Diane

ReplyDeleteMy heart skips beats! I would love to visit New York one day - it is on my bucket list!
I have stayed in the original medieval city of York in England, I imagine New York was named after it - I will ask Mr Goggle!
I hope you do another post and tell us what you did in NY...hint, hint!
I love the Waterlogue app!
Have a great weekend enjoyng your beautiful Spring!
Thank you for thinking of my Autumn days here!

Yes, I love that app. I should play around with it some more. Lovely pictures, Julie. They have a gorgeous view.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful city skyline view your family has! The watercolour app does a great rendition of the photo. I've had to read back a few posts to catch up with you Julie. I'm sorry to hear your grandmother recently passed away. What an amazing age she lived to though! She must have had some interesting stories to share with you of her life. It's always hard to say goodbye to such a dear family member though isn't it. I hope you're doing well, and have a nice evening.
