Last week I was in my yard sunning, drinking homemade iced coffee and reading a good book! To see my post on how to make homemade iced coffee click HERE. The new book I'm reading and loving is called The Paris Wife by Paula McLain and to read about the book click HERE.
What summer drink do you like and what book are you reading right now?
Thanks everyone and Enjoy!
Julie
This looks so nice! So relaxing! is this a good book? #WW
ReplyDeleteSounds so nice and relaxing Julie :) I like to sit in the garden with a nice shandy in the summer. Thanks for linking up :) #WW
ReplyDeleteI am not much of an iced coffee fan generally, but lately when I have my chocolate protein shakes I will add a bit of coffee to my mix. It makes the chocolate more chocolatey. Well...reading a good book while sipping on iced coffee sounds like a nice way to spend the afternoon. Happy WW & thanks for joining the linky party!
ReplyDeleteI almost tried my first iced coffee yesterday. I chickened out last second and got hot. Someday. ;)
ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful book! Relax, enjoy, and sip away your delish iced coffee!
ReplyDeleteHappy Wednesday!
I've been reading Nicholas Sparks', The Longest Ride. I love him and Charles Martin. They're my faves! Have a happy Wednesday...:)
ReplyDeleteBlessings, Vicky
This post reminds me that I need to stop running kids around in the car and go sit by the pool before summer passes me by! ;)
ReplyDeleteI've been enjoying lemonade (different flavors) and all my books are home :(
ReplyDeleteHi Julie, thanks for stopping by to link up this week and mentioning my #WW in your post too, that is so nice!!! Have a great day!! Your book sounds cool!!
ReplyDeleteI drink iced tea in the afternoons, Julie, and hot tea always in the mornings. I finished reading The Forgotten Seamstress and it was good. I'll have to check I to the book you're reading. I always like a good recommendation on a book.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing better than relaxing with a good book and a cup of coffee!
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'm going to have another book to add to my reading list. It sounds blissful, a book and a chilled drink.

That sounds like a perfect afternoon to me, Julie! I have wondered if this book was worth reading - thanks for sharing! Iced coffee sounds so yummy! xo Karen
ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteI'm having a cappuccino freddo as I type! Yes, there's nothing like a tall glass of cold, creamy coffee with a frothy topping and a dash of cinnamon, on a hot summer day! Enjoy and happy weekend!

Sounds so yummy! I drink ice water in this heat, and I'm reading Alice in Wonderland -- I never read it as a child and thought I should! Have a good weekend Julie!
ReplyDeleteI'm not much into iced coffee but I sure do enjoy a good book.
