Week 12 - Coco Mademoiselle Chanel
Hi friends and welcome to Makeup Monday Week 12. I was blessed this past Christmas with another wonderful gift from my lovely teenage daughter. Each holiday she picks out a new perfume and she chose this one for me. I love this scent and it's a winner. It's so popular right now and the scent is bold but not overpowering.
I would suggest the next time you are in a department store or a store like Sephora to try it on and see if you like it. The size bottle that I have is .50mil. and it's about $68.00 depending on where you buy it.

This would make a great Mother's Day or birthday present too!
Do you have a favorite perfume that you like and what is it? Thanks for stopping by everyone and see you next week.
Thanks everyone and Enjoy!
Julie
Hi Julie- I am your newest follower, too!~ ThankYOU for finding ME! I will come visit as often as I can- I am with my dd who has a brand new baby girl so my time is a bit limited.
ReplyDeleteI did want to tell you that you are No Reply when you leave a comment on someone's blog. That means that no one can email you a direct reply. IF you want to fix it here is the link that will show you how to do that.

Good luck and I hope that helps. Being able to reply when you leave a comment will really help you grow your blog, too. xo Diana
Hello, Julie! I might have to try this when I am near a Sephora or other shop. Unfortunately, I am not able to wear very much perfume because it tends to cause stuffiness in my nose. I can occasionally find something with just the right blend and very mild. The bottle, itself, is lovely! What a sweet daughter you have to have given you this for Mother's Day!
ReplyDeleteI checked out your post for the Chicken and Mushroom dish. It looks delicious and I am pinning it to give it a try sometime! Thanks for sharing!
Bold but not overpowering sounds perfect. I don't like a scent that's not too mild, but it can't be too strong or my husband gets touchy about it. I'm glad you like this one. I'll check it out the next time we're out and about. :)
ReplyDeleteI've never smelled this scent...wil have to next time I'm at the perfume counter! I don't have a favorite...just nothing too sweet or strong due to allergies. Right now I am wearing Nine West Love Fury which I really like. I like B & B and Victoria's Secret body sprays too...:) Have a great week!

Julie, I've never smelled this. There are a couple from Victoria Secret that I like...hint of vanilla always attracts me! :)

I will have to try this one, Julie! I have always worn Chanel #5 - it is my signature scent. I love perfume that has rose as a top note. Lately I have also been wearing Jo Malone - 'Red Roses'. It is not as heavy as the Chanel. I am always looking for a new scent - I will try your suggestion. xo Karen
ReplyDeleteI've never tried this scent, but I love Philosophy's Amazing Grace. I often get asked about this scent when I'm wearing it.
ReplyDeleteI've been wearing this scent for many years. I have every lotion, soap, spray, etc. that they make. Like you say it's a very subtle fragrance and I'm stuck for life. I've tried many through the years and have had a tendency to lean toward anything Chanel. My hubby loves Chanel No 5 which I wore in my younger years but now I find that a bit too sweet. Love your makeup series . . . it's very informative!
ReplyDeleteCoco Mademoiselle is my daughter's signature scent, if it wasn't hers, it might be mine! I love it. I did a post a while back on searching for a signature vintage perfume, still haven't found one. My current fav (not vintage) is Angel. Thank you for stopping by my blog, and your lovely and encouraging comments. I am following you as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking! I love Chanel!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite perfume currently is the new Versace Eros for women! I love it!
