Hi friends, I'd like to share with you this recipe for Chicken and Mushrooms that I make all the time for my family.
I usually make this dish during the week and the recipe is quick and simple and goes great with rice.
Chicken with Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients:
2 packages of thin chicken cutlets cut in half
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1 - 8oz. can tomato sauce
2 - 4oz. cans of mushrooms
1 tablespoon olive oil to coat pan
salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Coat a large frying pan with olive oil and minced garlic. Saute the garlic in the pan for a few minute until the garlic is lightly browned. Add chicken cutlets and season with salt and pepper to taste. Saute the chicken on each side until the pink is gone. Add mushrooms and tomato sauce to the pan and sauté for about 20 minutes. Done. Enjoy!
Wishing you all a nice weekend and I hope I have inspired you to try out this recipe. Let me know if you liked it.

This sounds really tasty Julie. I have never added tomato sauce to a mushroom gravy. I need to try this! I love mushrooms...they are one of my favorite foods. Thanks for sharing your recipe. I'm pinning it to my food board. Have a lovely weekend my friend!

Hmmm, this does sound yummy, Julie! Like Vicky, mushrooms are a favorite! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteAnother great recipe! I happen to have some chicken breasts in the freezer so I might give this recipe a go sometime next week. Hope your doing well Julie and I hope the sun is shining bright in New York.
ReplyDeleteSounds good to me Julie - minus the mushrooms. I use to hide them in my socks when I was a kid. But I love chicken.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is finally getting a little less cold here but now that means rain instead of snow. Yeah for us.
Have a great weekend. :)
Thanks Darlene, you are too funny for hiding the mushrooms. You could leave out the mushrooms from this recipe and it will still taste good!
DeleteThis sounds yummy Julie! Thanks for sharing another great recipe ... will have to give it a go :) I hope you're getting a little springtime weather like us ... even if it's rainy, it's still melting away the remnants of snow! Have a great weekend. Wendy x
