Hello friends. We went to Trader Joe's recently and I'd love to share with you some of my finds.
This time I spotted so many spring flowers. I replanted this plant into a large pot and it's sitting on my kitchen counter.
I repotted three pots of daffodils into a planter on my front stoop.
We bought this pretty succulent plant. Hopefully I can keep this plant healthy. I know they don't need a lot of water.
I recently saw a dermatologist on Instagram suggest using this facial sunscreen. I can't wait to use this SPF 40 sunscreen.
I was running out of this eye cream. This is a favorite of mine and it works great with hydrating my skin.
My daughter and I have been drinking tea in the afternoon and evening. We picked up a few boxes of tea.
I love the artichokes from Trader Joe's. I used them to make stuffed artichokes.
I spotted a large package of vegetables. I made a stir-fry meal for dinner. I made the veggies with olive oil, teriyaki sauce, and a little bit of garlic, and added cut up chicken. You could also do a stir-fry meal with veggies using shrimp, or steak.
We had a good time picking out an assortment of dips.
I love this spinach dip on chips or crackers.
We love the chips shown below.
Here are some other items I love from Trader Joes:
- sourdough bread
- english muffins
- lemonade
- Joe Joe's cookies
- peanut filled pretzels
- mixed nuts
- cereal
Have you been to Trader Joe's lately and what did you buy?
My blogging buddy, Heather likes to share items she bought at Trader Joe's too. You can see her latest TJ's haul here.

Hello friends and happy May.
I'm linking up with Jennifer at Overflowing With Thankfulness for what I'm currently loving, picturing, craving, wishing, and collecting.
This link-up is held on the first Wednesday of each month.
LOVING:
I'm loving all of the spring blooms popping up all over New York City. I love these yellow daffodils lining the steps of Bryant Park. This is a great time of year to visit this park.
PICTURING:
The lily of the valley is just starting to bloom in my garden. I love the smell of lily of the valley and it's one of my favorite spring flowers. I love that they pop up in my garden each spring.
CRAVING:
I'm craving visiting Coney Island and eating Nathan's hot dogs and fries on the beach.
WISHING:
I can't wait for this summer to go to the beach and swim in the water. This is one of my favorite things to do in the summer.
COLLECTING:
I will be collecting flowers and herbs to put in my garden. I usually wait until May when the weather is warm and there is no threat of frost.
What is currently new with you?

Hello friends. Is it already the end of April? I can't believe how fast the month of April has flown by! I'm looking forward to the month of May and warmer weather.
The weather is perfect for spring walks in my neighborhood. I love all of the trees and flowers budding. The only thing I don't like is that my allergies are bothering me. If I take Claritin then that helps with my watery eyes and sneezing.
I've been seeing on Instagram ads for Chico's Pull-On Jeggings. I'm so tempted to buy them, except I don't have a store nearby incase I have to return the pants.
I was so excited to make this retro granny square vest.
I was working on this vest shown above except the it was coming out too small. This pattern is from Yarnspirations and it is for a size medium. I ripped it out to make another project with this yarn.
I found this pattern to crochet a shawlette. I am hoping the shawl will come out good. I've never made a shawl before and I think this will be perfect to wear to keep me warm.
I made back in March Gnocchi with Sausage and Broccoli. This dish was a hit with my family. To make Kitty's recipe, you can find her recipe here. This time I decided to make it again but leave out the sausage and make it using broccoli rabe. This dish was delicious tasting and a hit with my family. Thank you Kitty for this easy and delicious tasting recipe.
Now that the weather is warm I like drinking iced coffee. I love ordering Iced Shaken Espresso drinks from Starbucks. A while back I shared this recipe to make your own drink at home. It's so easy to make and I hope you try it out.
Wishing you a happy Friday and weekend.

Hello friends. I'm excited to share with you my visit to this year's Macy's Flower Show. The flower show is held each year at Macy's flagship store located at 34th Street in New York City. This year the show was held from March 26th to April 10th. I was happy to visit the store on Saturday, April 1st.
This year Macy's store was decorated with clouds and floral displays in partnership with Dior.
The outside windows were displayed with gorgeous plants and flowers. I love the gorgeous purple and blue hydrangea plants.
There were colorful floral displays on the first and second floors of the store.
I love these large yellow and orange flowers that were located at the entrance to the store.
Cute floral sheep hanging in the air.
If you look up you could see more yellow and orange floral sheep.
A rainbow and cloud are displayed with white flowers.
My favorite display was the sun and yellow flowers. I had to wait my turn for this photo since everyone wanted their photo taken under the sun.
There were gorgeous floral arrangements on both sides of the escalator.
Now we are on the second floor of the store. We were surrounded by more colorful floral displays and Dior perfume and cologne.
J'adore perfume and white flowers.
Sauvage Cologne for men and purple and white flowers.
Pretty white roses on a Dior cart.
Beautiful white and purple flowers on this Dior cart.
We are now at the end of the flower show.
I enjoyed the flower show this year. I loved the theme of the clouds and the bright-colored floral displays. It was so fun to see all of the gorgeous flowers. I thought it was the perfect way to get in the mood for spring.
I can't wait to visit the flower show in the spring of 2024.
Have you ever visited the Macy's Flower Show?
