One morning recently, while I was walking my dog Bosco, I took this photo of these trees and park benches.
This second picture is the same photo, but I used the Waterlogue App to get this watercolor effect. I think this would make a pretty card.
Thanks everyone and Enjoy!

This shot was taken from one of my morning walks with my dog Bosco. I am going to enjoy the next few weeks left of the summery weather here.
Thanks everyone and Enjoy!

I pass this pretty Christmas tree each morning while walking Bosco. I love it so much I had to stop and take a photo. It looks so pretty lit up at night with white lights.
Below this is what the arbor looks like in the summer with the bright green leaves.
Take time to stop and look around your neighborhood during this holiday season.
Thanks everyone and Enjoy!

I thought I would share with you some photos of Bosco and our early morning fall walks since winter will be here soon. Once the winter comes we walk fast and are not able to take our time walking since it's so cold out.
This is Bosco dressed up in his pumpkin outfit for Halloween this year. Bosco helped me greet the little trick or treaters. The kids and Moms all thought he looked adorable.

I love how it looks like Bosco is kissing the bench even though he is trying to sniff it!

So many leaves have fallen off the trees now.
Bosco loves walking in the leaves and I love how still and quiet it is in the early morning.
These trees below remind me of a jungle!
We have been lucky here so far and have not had any snow yet. We are expected a few inches of snow on Wednesday so we will see what happens.
This is Bosco with his crocheted toy wrapped around his neck. His crazy mom did that to him last night! You can see my shoes and the foot with the sock in the photo is me! I made my husband take the photo! Bosco looks so serious but I had a good laugh!
If any of you are on Instagram you can see this photo of Bosco here. You can come visit and join me here and see some of my behind the scene photos!
I just wanted to update you all on the Christmas Crochet Sale we had at our church. It was a huge success and a lot of my homemade items went home with happy people. I had a good time and left late in the afternoon and rested my tired feet last night. I think I can take it easy now from knitting and crocheting for the sale for next year. I want to concentrate on finishing up some projects for myself. In case you missed that post you can see it here. The the multi colored scarf in the first photo I finished and I will be giving this for a Christmas present this year.
Thanks to all of you that left me such sweet and kind comments about my knit/crochet projects that I worked on throughout the year for the sale, I really appreciate it.

Wishing You a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi everyone, I'm glad to be back to blogging this week and feel refreshed. I missed all of you and blogging so much! Thanks to all of you that left me such sweet comments and featured me on your blogs, I appreciate it!
I accomplished so much while I was on my break. I did a lot of cleaning, winterizing the house, decorating for Fall and Halloween, crocheting, reading, taking long walks and the list goes on!
This is where I walked my dog Bosco the other morning. It's very refreshing taking walks in the early morning and Bosco keeps me moving. We usually walk for a half hour everyday.
Here is a neck warmer or cowl I crocheted along with hand warmers too. I only had a small skein of yarn to use so this was the perfect project to make.
While I was busy cleaning and decorating my house for Fall and Halloween I could not find the little pumpkins that I crocheted last year. I was so upset so I decided to crochet new ones. I made 6 new pumpkins. In this picture is only 5 but I did make another white pumpkin.

Wishing everyone a Happy Columbus Day!
I love the green plants growing on this arbor! I took this photo when I was walking my dog Bosco the other morning. The leaves on this arbor will soon be turning brown.

Hi friends! Wednesday was the feast of St. Joseph and to celebrate many people eat the pastry called Zeppole. My father-in-law used to own a bakery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and he would bake them all the time for this occasion. It's a tradition in my husbands family to eat them and this is the pastry that I shared with my daughter. The pastry is filled with yellow cream and it's so delicious that if you have never tried one you have too!
This morning I gave Bosco a walk near the water and here are some pictures that I would love to share with you.
Here is what this tree looks like now that it's the start of Spring and this is what the tree looked in the winter and incase you missed that post you can see it HERE.
I started crocheting granny squares for an afghan that I'm making for our annual crochet sale at our church that we have each fall. I have decided to crochet the squares together. I'm still working on the men's scarf that I have been knitting and incase you missed that post you can see it HERE.

Have you made any special plans for this weekend and what will you be doing?

Hi friends, I have a dog named Bosco that I usually take for long walks each morning and I took some pictures along the way last week that I would like to share with you. You can see that the trees are losing leaves and changing colors. In the distance you also can see the water and it's such a lovely walk in the morning.
There is a section that has benches that you can sit and watch the water and the boats going by.
You can see the pretty yellow and brown colors of the leaves and brown crisp leaves that have fallen off the trees.
There is still some green left on some of the bushes and plants and I love all the colors of fall. Soon there will be no leaves left on the trees and everything will be bare. Last Tuesday the weather was so cold here that we had snow, but it didn't stick for long on the ground. This is a picture of my cute and sweet rescue dog and he's part Corgi and Dachshund and I think he likes his walks too.
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving and I hope you all enjoy spending time with family, friends and eating good food. I'm so thankful for my family, friends and you my blog friends. We will be spending the holiday here at home and have dinner later in the afternoon because my daughter will be doing community service at our local high school giving out Thanksgiving Dinner. What will you be doing for Thanksgiving? Let me know I would love to hear.
A special welcome to all my new followers to my blog and for the people that featured me last week on some of your blogs. It means so much to me and it always makes me smile.
Thanks everyone and enjoy.
Julie
