Hello friends, and happy August. I'm a week late with this post, but I'd love to share with you what is going on lately.
I'm joining Jenn for her Currently link-up. It's held on the first Wednesday of each month and lasts about two weeks. This month, we are sharing what we are loving, looking forward to, scheduling, buying, and gearing up for.
LOVING: I'm loving the cooler weather we've been having since we recently had a heat wave. I'm loving eating all of the summer fruits such as cherries, watermelon, and peaches.
LOOKING FORWARD TO: I'm looking forward to fall weather in a few weeks. I'm looking forward to fall decorating inside and outside the house. Making soup and fall baking.
SCHEDULING: I am scheduling doctors' appointments.
BUYING: I've been buying some items that we needed from Amazon. You can read my latest post here.
GEARING UP FOR: I'm gearing up for more hot weather this month. I'm hoping we don't have any more heatwaves. The weather has cooled down a lot and I hope it stays that way. I've also noticed that it gets darker earlier at night and I'm gearing up for that and fall.

That watermelon looks so good! I was enjoying those cooler temps too. It was so nice to have the windows open and no AC on! It's back to getting hot and humid now here. I am looking forward to fall but trying to squeeze out as much summer as I can! That soup looks really good too!
ReplyDeleteHi Julie. I think we are going to have more hot weather and not see fall for awhile. I am so over this hot hot weather. It has been like August since June. I love summer but not when the temps are not dropping below 90 and it's so humid. The soup looks yummy. Hugs. Kris

ReplyDeleteWe've really been noticing that it's getting darker earlier and getting lighter later in the morning already too. We even have a few leaves changing colors already!

We have had uncomfortably hot weather here too it drains you doesn't it, luckily it never lasts that long for us, but the poor garden feels it. Have a great weekend Julie. 🙂
ReplyDeleteIt's been so hot and humid again, but we're trying to embrace it by swimming every night. I do hope we get a few more pool days, because once it's over it'll be about 10 long months before we can use it again!!
ReplyDeleteI am with you - love summer but looking forward to Fall. I like making soup and having cozy days! I have been on a bit of a shopping spree - Amazon and in the stores, too. Hope you enjoy the end of August and have a great weekend!
