Happy May friends.
I'm joining Jenn for her Currently link-up. It's held on the first Wednesday of each month and lasts about two weeks. This month, we are sharing what we are loving, looking forward to, leaving behind, letting go of, and looking at.
LOVING: I love my walks with Lucy in the neighborhood and looking at the spring flowers blooming.
LOOKING FORWARD TO: We have a few birthday celebrations this month that I'm looking forward to attending.
LEAVING BEHIND: I'm happy to finally leave behind our scarves and winter coats. I am enjoying the warmer weather and wearing spring clothes.
LETTING GO OF: We are still organizing different rooms in our house. We are cleaning our office and hoping to find a new work desk. It is an ongoing process for us since we are living in our home for 30 years.
LOOKING AT: We just saw Pirates The Penzance Musical. It was such a great musical starring Ramin Karimloo, Jinkx Monsoon, and David Hyde Pierce. The singing and dancing is amazing and the show is playing from April 4th - July 27th.
We are members of Roundabout Theatre Company. We see shows almost every month. We just finished seeing shows for this season. One of the benefits of being a member is that we can get our tickets to shows early and get to pick out great seats in the theater.
What have you been up to and is currently new with you?

How nice you can take walks with Lucy. Ahhh winter is finally letting go. So nice you have your member ship to see plays and musicals. Have a great day today. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteThat show sounds fabulous! I'm making it a low key to goal to try and see a live show most months this year. We don't have nearly the variety to pick from but there are lots of ones I'm excited to experience!
ReplyDeleteSo many fun things happening and happened! I bet Lucy loves her walks with you! Yay for warmer weather and birthday celebrations!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers on your walk are so pretty! I can't wait to put some theater shows on our calendar for the new seasons that are coming out. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you are having a great month! Pirates looks amazing - I am a big fan of Karimloo! We saw him in London years ago as the Phantom in Love Never Dies. How nice that you live close enough to the shows to enjoy them. And...hope this comment comes through - just got a new computer and still playing with it!
ReplyDeleteHow interesting this type of post is! It feels so relaxing to walk with your pet, and those flowers along the path are so pretty. I'm currently enjoying autumn in my city.
ReplyDeleteI bet that musical was so good. Wonderful to walk with Lucy. Amen to putting those scarves and hats away. Have a wonderful Mother’s Day!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see a show almost every weekend. That is something I would really enjoy and look forward to....and musicals are the best! I have to agree this is a great time to take cute pups for a walk!! Enjoy:)
ReplyDeleteOh I bet the show was wonderful. I remember it back in the day when Linda Ronstadt starred in it. I'm that old! Haha!!
