Hello friends. It's a tradition in my husband's family to have Spaghetti pie and Pizza Rustica (Italian meat pie) for Easter.
I learned how to make this Spaghetti pie from my husband's Aunt. It's delicious tasting and I've been making this every Easter season.
I'll be making this Spaghetti Pie this week and serving it with a salad on the side. It's great to have for lunch or dinner.
I'd love to share this easy and delicious-tasting recipe with you.
SPAGHETTI PIE
Prep time: 15 minutes
Cook time: 1 hour
Total time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Ingredients
- 1 pound cooked spaghetti
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup Pecorino Romano cheese
- 1 tablespoon black pepper (you can use less)
- 1 cup milk
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Let spaghetti cool before mixing. Mix all ingredients together. Spray a large pan (10 x 12) with cooking spray. Add everything to the pan. Add little dabs of butter to the top of the pie. Bake for 1 hour. Let cool before cutting pie into pieces.
NOTE: This recipe calls for milk, but I substituted it with Almond milk.
Enjoy the rest of the week and have a happy Easter.
