Hello friends and happy March! 😊🍀
I'm joining Jenn for her Currently link-up. It's held on the first Wednesday of the month. The link-up lasts for about two weeks. This month we are sharing what we are loving, craving, pinning, planning, and appreciating.
LOVING: I love that we are in March now. We love celebrating St. Patrick's Day by having Irish Soda Bread that I usually make. We will sometimes go to a local Irish pub for dinner or do take-out Irish food from our local diner.
I'm also loving that in two weeks will be the start of spring. I am done with this cold and snowy winter we had.
CRAVING: I'm craving right now warm Irish Soda Bread with butter.
PINNING: I've been pinning many of recipes to my Pinterest food board. I like pinning food recipes from bloggers I follow.
PLANNING: We are starting to plan our vacation for the summer. We usually like to go to the Jersey Shore for a week. We sometimes rent a house for a week or stay in a hotel. We are hoping to rent a house so that we can bring Lucy with us like we did last year.
APPRECIATING: I'm appreciating that my husband makes breakfast for me and sometimes for my daughter. During the week he makes us protein shakes. On a recent weekend, he made me an egg over easy with an English muffin and turkey bacon. It's the little things like this that I appreciate.
What have you been up to and is currently new with you?

Good Morning Julie. I just made Irish Soda Bread yesterday. I love it toasted with butter. Happy Wednesday. Hugs. Kris
ReplyDeleteNow I'm craving some Irish soda bread! We went to a St Patrick's Day parade on Sunday and then to an Irish pub for dinner. I can't wait to make some shepherd's pie and hopefully some Irish soda bread too. Your hubby's breakfasts look delish! I'm so ready for spring!
ReplyDeleteHi Julie - glad you are getting ready to enjoy soda bread and Spring! Planning on your shore trip gives you something to look forward to as winter fades away. Nothing like the shore! We won't get our soda bread or watch our traditional Quiet Man movie this year...traveling and will be in Germany, so we will find beer.....but it won't be green! Have a marvelous March!
ReplyDeleteAnn, yes I can't wait to make Irish soda bread again this year. We love going to the Jersey shore each summer and it's something to look forward to. Thanks for the recommendation on the white beach coverup I bought it and love it. I hope you have a wonderful time in Germany and I can't wait to hear all about you trip. Enjoy March.
DeleteAw, that is so sweet that your husband makes breakfast each day. Good luck finding a perfect house rental for your vacation; we tend to lean more toward houses than hotels too just to give us all plenty of room.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love that he makes breakfast for us each day. I can't wait to go to the Jersey shore again this year and hoping we find a house so we can bring Lucy with us. Enjoy the month of March.
DeleteThat is so nice that your husband makes breakfast for you! The Jersey shore sounds so fun!
ReplyDeleteNow I'm thinking I need to add Irish Soda Bread to our St Patrick's Day menu. It sounds sooo good and I've only made it once.
ReplyDeleteHooray for men who make breakfast!! Mine made breakfast this morning and it is a great start to the day! I do not think I have ever had Irish soda bread - but I need to check that out! Looks yummy:)
ReplyDeleteI’ve never had Irish soda bread but now I really want to try it. How sweet of your hubby to make you breakfast. My hubs is the barista in the house but he’s never cooked a meal, lol. Have a great weekend my friend!
