Hello blog friends. I hope you are staying warm with this cold and snowy weather we are having this winter.
With the holidays over I decided to stop by one of my favorite books stores in our neighborhood. It's called The Ripped Bodice and it's a romance bookstore.
Two sisters own this bookstore and they have another store that is located in California.
This bookstore opened up in August of 2023. The decor is so unique that they have book pages decorated on the walls. This is my second time visiting this bookstore.
They still had their pink Christmas tree up and it looked so cute with the black bows.
They sell cute merchandise and I bought this T-shirt for myself and the tote bag for my daughter.
I picked out these two books. I love books by Taylor Jenkins Reid and this will be my first time reading a book by Lucy Score.
I will be joining Share Your Shelf next week to review After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid. This is a great link-up party to visit and find book recommendations.
Do you have a favorite bookstore?
Have you read any good books lately?

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun bookshop! I loved After I Do and hope you do too!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a cute book store! We don't have any bookstores locally but I LOVE visiting them when I go on vacation.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like such a fun bookstore! I've been looking for an independent book store near me but haven't found one yet. I haven't seen that Taylor Jenkins Reid book yet but I like her books. I enjoy the Lucy Score series and have read that one. Happy Reading!
ReplyDeleteThis shop is so adorable. Love places like this that are not the ordinary. Have a great week. Kris
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling bookstore that you have right in your neighborhood, Julie! I look forward to reading your reviews of your books that you bought! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteOh, this place looks great ! I love the books hanging from the ceiling! Looks like you found two good titles, too. I usually get my books from the library, but there is a cute little bookstore in a nearby town that I love to visit...and I usually end up buying several. Can't wait to hear your reviews - Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteAnn, I love visiting small bookstores like this one and love the decor. It's the perfect time for reading books since it's so cold outside. Happy reading books Ann.
