HAPPY FALL!

Hello friends and happy October!

I can't believe it's already the beginning of October.  September was a fun month full of birthdays and a wedding.

Today I am linking up with Jennifer from Overflowing with Thankfulness for what I'm loving, excited about, watching, seeing, and observing.

LOVING:  I love that the season has changed and now we are into the beginning of the fall season.  Now that it's cooler weather we can now wear pants, long-sleeve tops, sweaters, sweatshirts, and boots.

EXCITED ABOUT:  I'm excited about decorating my front stoop with mums and pumpkins.  I look forward to seeing all of the houses in my neighborhood decorated for fall and Halloween.

WATCHING:  My husband and I are now watching Only Murders in the Building.  I love this show and Season 3 stars Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, and Matthew Broderick.  I'm also watching Gilmore Girls and on Season 2.

SEEING:  I've been seeing signs of fall in my yard and neighborhood.  The leaves are falling and soon they'll change to bright colors.  It's been raining a lot here and my flowers and veggies are still doing well.

OBSERVING:  I've noticed how it's getting darker earlier at night.  I love lighting a candle in my kitchen as I cook dinner.

What is currently new with you?

  1. Good Morning Julie. We will be getting more fall like temps this weekend. It has been summer this past week with temps in the high 80's. Unusual for us in October. But I will take this nice weather. Our trees are already starting to change colors which here on the golf course is beautiful. Have a good rest of the week. Hugs. Kris

  2. It's hard to believe we are already into October. I'm looking forward to more crisp fall days after this little heatwave (that I'm not minding). I'm watching Only Murders too. Only one more episode to go! I haven't done much decorating on my porch yet, just a few pumpkins. I decorated my mantle for Halloween and put up some spooky decor. I hope you're having a great week Julie!

  3. I did see NY was getting a lot of rain. We had a little rain. This week is like Indian Summer. I am getting ready for my girl’s Clogger party which is on Saturday. Have fun decorating. Xo

  5. I haven't watched Only Murders in the Building but have seen several mentions of it. I will have to check it out. Mums + pumpkins = fall, love seeing how people are decorating their porches.

  6. I'm with you...candles in the kitchen and Only Murders on tv. We watched the finale last night. I thought this season was the best. Great jokes, and I'm a huge musical theater fan and those songs were great!! Happy Fall!!

  10. I just heard about Only Murders, at the hairdresser yesterday. We finally had some rain last night and it was cooler today. I love lighting candles and always have my candles that are on timers, lit year round. Happy October, Julie! 🧡

  14. My husband watches Only Murders in the Building and I've seen a few episodes, but haven't followed it lately. But listen, if Paul Rudd is in it, I am rethinking that because I love me some Paul Rudd! LOL Visiting from Currently#19
