Trader Joe's Haul

January 10, 2022

If you've been following me for a while, then you know I love food shopping at Trader Joe's.

I recently did a blog post of my top 5 blog posts of 2021.  I was so surprised that my Trader Joe's Finds from last April was a popular blog post.

Well, my husband and daughter did a recent shopping trip to Trader Joe's since I couldn't go with them.  I'd love to share with you their finds in case anything interests you.

My daughter loves plants and the plant she had at her college died.  She wanted another plant and brought home this cute one.  Trader Joe's has a nice selection of plants and flowers.

Now that the holidays are over and I'm back to cooking regular meals, my husband picked up a bag of kale.  I love adding it to salads, soups, and even pasta.

I love snacking on trail mix and this is one of my favorites.

I've never tried this blend of mixed berries, but it looks like a good one to try.  This blend would taste great mixed in with oatmeal.

I like to add pumpkin seeds to our salads, to give them a little bit of crunch.

We all love these corn chip dippers.

These tortilla chip rounds are a favorite too.

I was pleasantly surprised to see these three different dips.  This is the first time I've tried the vegan tzatziki dip and the vegan caramelized onion dip.
I love this everything but the bagel dip.  Have you tried this yet?

I love to make pasta dishes with this brown rice quinoa pasta.

I love the packaged salads at Trader Joe's and these are some of my favorites.

This arugula and Parmigiano Reggiano ravioli are a new item that I can't wait to try.

These Taiwanese green onion pancakes are a new item for us to try.

This package of Korean bulgogi beef with fried rice and kimchi is another new item that I've never tried.

I'm looking forward to making something with this package of artichoke hearts.

My daughter likes to eat this vegan Tikka Masala.

We've never had the Cacio E Pepe and I can't wait to try this out.

This package of seafood paella is another new item that looks good.

We always add frozen fruit to our protein shakes for breakfast.

Have you been to Trader Joe's lately and what did you buy?

  1. Oh, you’ve made me hungry! I’m so jealous because we don’t have a Trader Joe’s close by. If I get the chance to stop by, I’ll be checking out some of those frozen meals. Happy week!

  2. I'm a regular at Trader Joe's (if I don't show up once a week, they call me to ask if I'm ok, lol!). As much as I go, I always love your posts because you introduce me to things I haven't tried before. I'm going to look for the green onion pancakes, the berry medley, seafood paella, and the golden berry blend.

  5. I would love some of that trek mix. I'm always looking for snacks that don't have sugar and just mix my own with nuts and sugar free chocolate chips. Happy Monday!

  11. You certainly did make a haul at Trader Joe's! We don't have one here. The closest one ia 120 miles away! I used to go when I visited by daughter in Milwaukee but she no longer lives there.

I hope you have a wonderful "foody" week- xo Diana

  12. Yummy! I don't get to Trader Joes often as it in another city, but when I do go I like to get there Raviollies as they are from Italy and are so good, the cheese ones are delicious!
And their coffee is really good also and the spices are so reasonably priced.

  17. Wow, what new finds you have Julie! Your husband and daughter did well. I've not tried a lot of what you showed. The artichoke hearts are very good baked with spinach and chicken. And I love the rice and quinoa pastas and the organic white corn tortilla chips we always have one hand too. Love your Trader Joe's haul. I went there two days ago but bought the familiarities. I will have to ventured out a bit more next time. Have a wonderful day Julie!

    1. I know Ping, I'm so happy with what they brought home from Trader Joe's. I will have to try making spinach, artichoke hearts and chicken for dinner. Thanks for that dinner idea. Yes, we always buy the same things but my daughter picked out most of everything. Take care and enjoy the weekend Ping.
