Hello blog friends. There is a new update that the Follow by Email Widget (Feedburner) email subscription will be turned off as of July. It means that subscribers to your blog by email will no longer receive updates when you send out a new blog post.
When I saw this notice on blogger I knew that it would be difficult for me to figure out how to set it up on my own.
I have a blog friend, Linda from Life and Linda who designs blogs. I've been very happy with the blogging help I've had in the past with Linda for different tech issues on my blog.
Linda did a helpful blog post about the changes with Feedburner that you should read.
I contacted Linda and had her change my email subscription service over to Mailchimp. Below is what my new Follow By Email Widget looks like.
