Hello everyone and Happy Friday!
HAPPY SEPTEMBER!
1. A Quick Visit to Grand Central
I recently made a quick stop into Grand Central Station to meet someone. While I was there I took a photo of this famous clock at the ticket booth.

2. Some Makeup Finds
I discovered this Tarte Shape Tape concealer after it was recommended by my college girl. I love the coverage it gives for my under eye dark circles. I also use it on other areas on my face. This concealer is sold exclusively at Ulta Beauty.

Once the fall comes I will be using this powder foundation. It covers some of my imperfections on my face without having to use a liquid foundation.
I bought a few makeup sponges to use with the powder foundation shown above.
3. Packing Cubes
I love these packing cubes by Shacke Pak that I bought in the spring from Amazon. The set comes with four cubes and a sack for dirty laundry. These packing cubes are just perfect to use to keep all of your clothes organized. I have used them for two trips this summer and I will get a lot more use out of them.
4. Seeing a Broadway Show
My husband and I enjoyed going to see the show Hamilton with my brother and sister-in-law. The show was amazing and we all loved the singing and dancing. It's a show you don't want to miss.
5. Another Longchamp Bag
While on our recent trip to Asia I bought another Longchamp bag. Even though the bag looks brown the color is olive. I am looking forward to using this bag for fall.
6. Insta Love
Last week I posted a recipe for Pesto Sauce on my Friday Favorites HERE. I was so happy to see on Instagram that Ping from @espritdelavie_ping made the Pesto Sauce and posted a photo of it. Ping, I'm glad you were inspired to make the sauce.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a happy Friday and weekend.

Happy Friday to you Julie! I use that same set of packing cubes and love them (using them now in Italy). We have them for every member of the family. Your pesto looks amazing. Yay for PIng making it too! I love Grand Central, it's so beautiful. I will check out that make up!
ReplyDeleteOh I love that iconic clock at the station! I have seen it often in movies. :-)

ReplyDeleteHope that you have a wonderful weekend ahead of you!
Away From Blue
Oh my that clock at the station is such a 'landmark' practically. It brings me so much memories as I am from NYC. I used to go to NJ to visit my cousin and it was always a fun trip at GCS.
ReplyDeleteHappy September dear friend.

Hi Julie,
ReplyDeleteThat clock is gorgeous. What a wonderful and beautiful piece of history. We saw Hamilton when it was in Chicago and it was fabulous. I bet on broadway even better. Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Kris
I like pesto quite a bit. This sounds really good. I like the bag too.
ReplyDeleteI always love your favs! I know I wouldn't get to see Hamilton or buy a nice bag in Asia but I can at least look for that concealer! heehee! I have to wear it under my eyes before I put on mineral make up. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI always love reading about your favorites, Julie! Hamilton was here in Dallas, but I didn't get to see it. I'm glad that you enjoyed it.
