I recently crocheted these Americana themed potholders one afternoon.
This is such a fun and easy crochet project and I'd love to share it with you.
They would look great to use for a 4th of July party.
These potholders are so simple and can be made in just a few hours.
They make great gifts and are perfect for the kitchen.
AMERICANA CROCHET POTHOLDER
PATTERN
DETAILS:
YARN: 1 Skein - Lily Cotton Sugar n' Cream - Red White & Blue
CROCHET HOOK: US Size I
STITCHES: (HDC) Half Double Crochet
DIRECTIONS:
Chain 25.
Half Double Crochet in the 3rd chain from hook. Continue to HDC to the end of the row. You should have 22 stitches across.
(For the rest of the potholder I crocheted in the first chain from the hook for each new row).
Chain 2 and turn your work. HDC 22 times, chain 2 turn your work.
Continue until you have 17 rows total.
At the corner chain 12 and then make a loop and fasten off. Weave in your ends.
