Breakfast Before Shopping

July 12, 2017

Whole Foods Store

Hello friends.  I hope you are all enjoying summer and having a great week.

Have you visited Whole Foods Market yet?  Well, I love food shopping at this store, and I was recently shopping there for our 4th of July BBQ.  I just discovered that they have a breakfast buffet there that is just awesome.

We like the breakfast buffet so much, that within the past two weeks, my husband and I have had breakfast at this store and then we did our food shopping afterwards.

Below is a sample of what I had for breakfast.  I had a spinach frittata, mushroom frittata, and a few pieces of crispy bacon.

Mushroom Frittata, Spinach Frittata, and Crispy Bacon

The key is to get to the store somewhat early in the morning, so that most of the breakfast foods won't be gone, as you can see by these frittata's.

Below you can see the bacon.  This bacon tastes so good and it's flat and so crispy with such a nice flavor.

Here are more breakfast foods to choose from.  In the store they have an area with tables where you can sit and eat your food.

Sausage

Oatmeal, Potatoes and Peppers, and Rolls

You can also go to the same section in the store to sit and eat your lunch or dinner.  We have done both meals and you have to be careful with the dinner buffet as there is so much good food to choose from.

I really enjoyed our breakfast and they have the best coffee.  I've had all kinds of coffee, which I have sampled, such as a latte, regular coffee, iced coffee, and even a Cortado.

A Cortado is a hot beverage that consists of espresso coffee mixed with equal amounts of warm milk.

There is also a section that has all kinds of hot foods such as, chicken, rice, vegetables, and various soups.  Sorry I could not show you any photos of the hot lunch foods, since we were in the store early in the morning for breakfast.

The store has a huge section for assorted fruits and vegetables.

Assorted Fruits

One of my favorites is the huge selection of assorted breads.

Bread

I also love the bakery section.  They has so many different cookies to choose from.  We usually stay away from this area as we are trying to watch our diets and not eat too many sweets.

I love the salad bar where you can make your own salad however you like it.

Below, this is one of my favorite areas in the store, consisting of different prepared salads.  They have Caesar salad, Thai salad, and assorted pasta salads that are just amazing.

Prepared Salads and Sandwiches

There is such a huge selection of drinks to choose from.

Assorted Drinks

One of my favorite spots is the seafood section.  We bought the other day fresh marinated salmon, salmon burgers, and marinated shrimp that we grilled.  I loved the marinated shrimp and I suggest you try it out.

Fresh Fish

Whole Foods Market also has an awesome meat department.  They have all kinds of roasts, beef, pork, and steaks, etc.

We bought the hamburgers patties and hamburger sliders for our BBQ.  These hamburgers were one of the best burgers we've have ever eaten and reason being is that the meat just melts in your mouth.  The burgers had cheese and other ingredients mixed in with the meat and we ate the burgers without the bread buns.  Yum!!

Raisins, Dried Cranberries, Dates, Dried Banana

Whole Foods Market has another department that just I love but don't shop in too often in, which is the beauty section.  They have all kinds of natural soaps, moisturizers, and makeup.  I could go crazy buying and shopping in this department!!

It is such a fun place to eat and shop and I totally recommend you try it out.

**  This is NOT a sponsored post and just my opinions on eating and shopping in this store.

Have you shopped in Whole Foods Market recently and what is your favorite department?

Thanks for stopping by everyone.  I hope you enjoy the rest of the week and weekend.

Jess and I will see you all back here on Monday for our Cooking and Crafting with J & J Link Up!

  3. Julie, can you believe I have never been in a Whole Foods? It looks great. There are so many small, local markets like it in my area that I just shop there, but it does look like it's worth the trek. Especially that bacon and those breads. Yum!

  5. I love Whole Foods, but it is a little distance from me and when I do go there I love their Prime Rib Sandwich. Try and stay away from all that good food.

  6. Whole Foods is being bought by Amazon, so it will be interesting to see what happens there. It's a great place, but dangerous lol.

(You may want to check your disclosure statement at the end of your post).

  9. I am waiting patiently for Whole Foods to come to my area. It may be a few years as there are issues with where they want to put it. Sigh...now I want to visit even more after your post!
