Hi friends, I love the quiet month of January after we have all had a such a busy December preparing for the holidays. I really love when it snows and I can just curl up on the couch and read a good book with a cup of tea or coffee. I love when I have the chance to just sit and knit or crochet one of the projects that I'm working on or have a wonderful dish cooking in the crock pot.
What ever you do this weekend I hope you can find just a few minutes to enjoy quiet time doing whatever makes you happy.
I am in agreement, I love the homely feeling in the winter months, great snow picture, have a nice weekendxx
ReplyDeleteJulie, I'm looking forward to quiet, relaxing time curled up on the sofa with DH. It's gonna be a rainy weekend, so this will be an excellent time to watch TV shows or movies on Netflix. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteI would love to grab my books and cup of coffee and spend the day with you. Not sure how much 'quiet time' we would have though! lol Enjoy your day sweet friend! Hugs, Diane

PS I love the snowy pic you chose for this post.
What a peaceful post this was, Julie.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing quite like the times we have to just be still.
In fact, that is what today has started to end up being for me. I had other plans, but felt my body, heart and soul needed time alone doing"my" things.
Have a beautiful blessed week end.
Joy!
Debbie
Enjoy, have a nice weekend.:*
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely to get all comfy cozy at this time of year and just watch the weather from inside. Have relaxing quiet time with all your fabulous projects my friend xx

I totally agree Julie, January can be such a relaxing month with no deadlines to meet. We can just sit back and enjoy the moment in whatever task we choose to do.
ReplyDeleteHave a good weekend x
Every season is special in its own way. Even the rather gray months of January-February in the north east. Appreciating Mother Nature and some quiet time is rejuvenating and oh so important to our well being.
ReplyDeleteI hear this weekend will be challenging weather wise, so stay warm and cozy Julie!
Good morning, my friend, and happy weekend to you! I am enjoying little bit of quiet time right now as my husband and son just ran off to town and I am here at home sitting by the fire, drinking coffee, and "visiting" with a sweet lady {you} :)
ReplyDeleteLove the new look of your blog! So pretty and refresing. Hugs!
I could use more snow - we had some earlier and then nothing. I love seeing landscapes white with snow - makes the winter (visual) noise quiet down for a bit.
ReplyDeleteI ran around yesterday to get errands done before the snow. Today was a quiet day at home and I'm really enjoying catching up with my blog friends.
ReplyDeletequiet times are definitely the best. january has been so busy for me. hope things settle down in february. hahaha
