Hi friends, I'm in the middle of reading a book by Debbie Macomber. The book is called
Rose Harbor in Bloom!
This is the second book in the series. When I was shopping a few weeks ago I picked up this book at BJ's not realizing that it's the second book in the series but you can still read and follow along as it does not really make a difference.
I'm really enjoying the book and it's a light and easy read. I usually enjoy reading at night for a little while before bed.
This book is about a woman who owns a bed and breakfast and it's basically about the guests who come and stay at her inn.

I will be sharing this post with Chantelle from the blog Mama Mummy Mum who has a book series each week called Read With Me every Monday.
A BIG THANK YOU TO ALL THE PEOPLE THAT WISHED ME WELL WISHES ON MY 2 YEAR BLOG ANNIVERSARY!!

I love this author, especially her Christmas books. Lots of cute Hallmark movies made about them, too. I'm reading a 'light read' right now, too...Little Bitty Lies. It's pretty cute. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI've not heard of this author before. I do like a nice easy read though, brilliant that you can jump right in even though it is part of a series. thanks for linking with #readwithme x
ReplyDeleteI like a nice light read for pure enjoyment every once in awhile too. It's especially nice after heavy reading, which we do quite a bit of here with school. :)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a lovely read, that's another to add to my ever increasing book list.

Sounds like a good book. I've read a few by her; she's a great author. Take care :-)
ReplyDeleteI love Debbie Macomber, Julie. I've read her Cedar Cove series and watched it on the Hallmark Channel during the past two summers. I also read another series about a knitting shop, I think it's called The Good Yarn. Did you know that she's a knitter? I'll check out this book that you recommended.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stooping by with your kind words on the birth of my newest grand baby.
A bed and breakfast! That should be really interesting. Enjoy!

I've always wanted to read her books - good to know this is a series. Thanks for the review - it helps when considering a new author to read! xo Karen
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lovely book. When I read more I tended yo read books by one or two authors only. I must try to read others too! #Readwithme
ReplyDeleteI like the premise of this book Julie! It opens up all sorts of possibilities. I'm reading 'A Fine Romance' by Susan Branch which is very light reading, and just before that I read 'The Shack' which was also light but heavy, if you know what I mean. If you don't, I recommend it highy.
ReplyDeleteI have read some of her books and enjoyed them, I will have to looks this one up thanks for the review Julie. :)
ReplyDeleteI need to start reading something that is not on a computer screen! I know I say that every time you post a book review, but I really mean it this time! ;) Maybe I'll start with a magazine!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet cover design! It sounds like an interesting read. Thanks for linking on Amanda's Books and More!
ReplyDeleteI've read wonderful things about her but have never read any of her book's. Thank you for sharing!
