HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
I hope you had a good time last night celebrating with friends and family. My family and I had a quiet dinner and watched the ball drop. I am looking forward to a new year and new beginnings. It was a fun year for me making new blog friends and creating and sharing with you all my recipes and knit/crochet creations I have made. Thanks to everyone who wished me a Happy Birthday this week too, I had fun celebrating my birthday all week long.
The most viewed post of 2013 was my Crochet Infinity Scarf and Pattern I shared with all of you.
To see the post you can click HERE. The funny thing about this post was that it never had any comments! My current work in progress is this knit infinity scarf and it is made with a size 8 US circular knitting needle and I cast on 20 stitches.
My goal is to try and finish every project for 2014 that I start. This is only resolution that have I made for myself and I hope that I can keep it. Do you make any new year resolutions?

Thanks everyone and enjoy.

I don't so much have resolutions as goals. I did well with the ones I chose last year -- posts for the next week -- and am optimistic about the ones for 2014. I had a quiet evening in the neighborhood, too, and wish you a very happy and healthy new year.
ReplyDeleteHi Julie,
ReplyDeleteI do love that grey infinity scarf! It's just beautiful.
Hugs, Lynnie

ReplyDeleteI love this! I just started knitting again and making prayer shawls....something new for 2014!
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog. I love the crocheted infinity scarf. I am bookmarking it so I can make it. That post was on my birthday!.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Julie. May you have many more days of beautiful creativity in the coming year.

Ths is such a fabulous scarf - I can see why it was a favorite. I am sorry I am late, but Happy Birthday, sweet friend! I hope it was filled with many special blessings. Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteYour crocheting and knitting is fabulous Julie. Love the scarves! I'm hoping to finish unfinished projects this year. I have 4 quilts that need to be finished.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
Do you find its easier to use the circular knit needle? I knit on looms. I don't knit well with needles. I can crochet, but like the look of knit better :)
ReplyDeleteHi Julie and Happy New Year!!
ReplyDeleteYour scarf is lovely! The number of comments usually do not have to do anything with views and this is a proof of that :)
Happy New Year and a belated Happy Birthday. Can't wait to see your scarf finished :-). Sounds like a good plan! Thanks for linking up at Crochet Addict UK
ReplyDeleteThe crochet scarf looks nice & snuggly! Isn't that funny that no one made a comment on your most popular post. I find my most popular posts are for knitting projects, but not many people comment. I assume it's people looking for a pattern. I love the soft colour shades in your knitted scarf. I just finished an infinity scarf for my daughter, and will be posting about it soon. I try very hard to finish up one project before starting another, and it works well. I hate half-finished things lying around. Happy New Year Julie, I really enjoy stopping by here for a friendly little chat ;)
ReplyDeleteHi Julie, love your scarf :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing at Creative Mondays, new follower by GFC,Google+ and Twitter ...
This is one of the very few years I haven't seen the ball drop. We had family visiting and I never even thought of it!! I do like it though. :)
ReplyDeleteThe scarf is great, I love the colors!! Thank you for linking to Super Sunday Sync.
