Granny Square Baby Sweater Update:
I'm still working on the granny square baby sweater and I'm looking forward for this project to be over. I worked on the sweater for a little bit yesterday afternoon and last night and stayed up working until 11:30pm. I was so tired yesterday when I went to bed, but I think that I was on a roll sewing together all of those squares (38 in total). I love crocheting the granny squares, but I hate the putting together process. There are many ways of putting the squares together. I chose to sew mine together. Next time I want to try crocheting the squares together to see if it is easier and faster. This is the first time I have ever made a granny square baby sweater and it is a lot of work. I did not have anyone in mind in my family when I decided to make the sweater because no one is having a baby girl, but I wanted to challenge myself to make something different and more difficult than I usually do and I'm glad I did. It is good to challenge yourself! My mom had given me the yarn a long time ago because she said that she wasn't going to use it and I said that I would take the yarn because I love the color. When she gave me the yarn I did not realize at the time that the yarn is from England and it is so soft. The yarn is Sadar Snuggly Magic. Well I just love the name of the yarn. I just have a little bit more left to do and I will be finished with the sweater. I wish I had enough yarn to make a blanket but I do not but I can always buy more yarn to make the blanket at some point.
Here is a picture of my progress on the sweater:
