Kale Quiche Recipe

Wednesday, November 30, 2016

Hello friends.  I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving for those of you that celebrate it in the U.S.  :)

I have a light and healthy quiche recipe that I made recently, and I'd love to share it with you.

This is so easy to make and tastes delicious.  I make this quite often for dinner, and if you like kale, then I'm sure you will like this quiche dish as much as we do.  I usually like to serve salad on the side too.

Here the quiche is sliced and ready to be eaten.  This dish is easy to assemble, with no crust and it bakes up really fast.  If you do not like kale, then you can substitute that for broccoli.

4 Year Blog Anniversary

Tuesday, November 8, 2016

Hello blog friends!  Wow, I can't believe it but today is my 4th Year of Blogging!

The time has gone by so fast and what a wonderful experience this has been for me.

I started blogging four years ago by the urging of my teen daughter.  She helped get me started with this blog, and encouraged me to share about my love for crocheting, and to share some the recipes that I make for our family.  Thanks to you sweet daughter for introducing me to the blogging world!

I'm so happy I decided to take the step to join the blogging community, and I've enjoyed this experience very much.  I've learned a lot, and I especially like talking to bloggers from all over the world.  I love being inspired by your talent and how creative you all are.  I wish I had more time to try out your crafts and recipes.  I also enjoy looking at your beautiful homes and your home decorating tips.

It has made me very happy that some of you have made some of my recipes, and also made some of my crochet projects.  THANKS SO MUCH, I APPRECIATE IT!

One of my biggest highlights of blogging was when I had the opportunity to meet some of you in person!  I look forward to meeting more of you in the future someday.

Thank you for the four fun years of blogging, support, and friendship.  I've loved your visits to my blog and your lovely comments.

I look forward to another fun year of blogging with you!

Thanks everyone and enjoy!

Julie

Stephanie's 9th Tea Cup & Mug Exchange

Tuesday, November 1, 2016

Hello friends, I'm so happy to be joining Stephanie at The Enchanting Rose for her 9th annual Tea Cup and Mug Exchange.

This is my fifth Tea Cup and Mug Exchange that I have had the pleasure of participating in.  It's always fun to receive a fun tea cup or mug with assorted goodies and to make new blog friends.

I was assigned to send my package of goodies off to Susan who lives in Virgina.  Susan has a blog called Culinary Envy where she shares all of her wonderful recipes.  I hope to sometime make a few of her fun recipes.

I'd love to show you the awesome package of goodies I received in the mail from Lynda, who was assigned to me.  When I opened the box, Lynda had all of the contents wrapped up so nice in all different colored tissue paper.

I was gifted with coffee, tea, cookies, and a pretty tea mug.

tea mug and assorted coffee & tea from Julie's Creative Lifestyle

Look at the pretty tea mug, it was made in Portugal.

Thanks Lynda for the beautiful tea mug!  I really enjoyed drinking the flavored hazel nut coffee from Dunkin Donuts, the tea, and the chocolate chunk cookies tasted so good.  :)

Thanks Stephanie for taking the time to arrange this fun tea cup and mug exchange.  You can visit Stephanie's blog HERE to see what other people received.
