Spaghetti Pie Recipe

April 11, 2017

Hello everyone.  I hope you are all having a great week and getting ready to celebrate Easter.

I love Spaghetti Pie and I have this easy to make recipe to share with you.  This recipe brings back memories of my husband, daughter, and I going to visit at my husband's Italian Aunt and Uncle during Easter week for lunch.

My husband's Aunt would be in the kitchen making so many of these pies for family and friends, but she always made time for us to visit.

My husband's Aunt would serve us slices of this warm pie for lunch, and then give us the rest of the pie to bring home!

At home if I make this spaghetti pie I serve it with a salad on the side.  I love this pie so much that I decide to share the recipe with you.

I hope you enjoy this spaghetti pie as much as we do!  😀

  11. This recipe sounds so simple, Julie, and I would love to try it. I've made spaghetti pie in the past, but it had meat and a tomato sauce. I love this idea. Thank you for sharing a family favorite! Happy Easter blessings to you and your family.

  12. Julie, your spaghetti pie looks amazing and sounds so delicious. It really is comfort food, but perfect for busy days because it's an easy recipe. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Hearth and Soul.

  13. Almost exact to my Nonie Scibelli’s recipe. We use 1 lb of bucatini pasta, 12 eggs, 8 oz of freshly grated Pecorino Romano, salt n pepper. Our process is different. We boil pasta, drain it, soak pasta in cold water for one hour( this causes pasta to swell which leaves Center to fill with mixture we prepare. Drain pasta,. Put drained pastainto large bowl, add eggs, cheese, salt pepper and pepper. Grease pan with crisco or butter. Put mixture into baking pan. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees until golden.

  14. Your Spaghetti Pie looks delicious! Hope you have a very special holiday and thanks so much for sharing with us at Full Plate Thursday.

  20. Hi Julie! I have been looking all over for a certain Easter spaghetti pie I had when I was younger. I think this is it! But could you please tell me exactly what size pan/dish I should use. Please.
    Thank you!

    1. Hi Donna, You are welcome and you can use a large size pan. I usually use a 10 x 12 pan for the spaghetti pie. Enjoy, and I hope you like and make this recipe.
